Waldstrand Berger

The villa is quirky and charming from the wonky balcony to the huge solid doors with their beautiful hinges and the other period turn of the century features. The kitchen is very well provided, including things for the dishwasher and basic spices (I love cooking and had everything I needed) there are towels provided (but no beach towels). The family is super friendly and almost always there for queries, you can take out the row boat and the paddle boat and the 2x sups can be rented for a small fee. Despite the heat the house stayed cool thanks to the shutters and you could swim for ages straight from the pier (take a float if you want to swim right across). We all had a great time a d shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Would defo come again!

The booking.com description is not ideal as it doesn’t make clear which villa is which. You are better checking this on the Waldstrand Berger website. Please note also that the description says there is a washing machine but this is not in the villa - the very friendly Bergers will wash things for you in the blue and white admin building for a fee however.The car park is small so if the family in the other half of the villa are cheeky and turn up with multiple cars it gets tight to turn.

Wir waren in Haus A, in dem kleinsten Haus, das war für 2 Personen im Wohn- u Kochbereich und im Schlafzimmer ausreichend, allerdings ein sehr enges Bad. Aber das war trotzdem ok.

Pace e uccellini che cantano, splendida vista sul lago. Abitazione rustica ma confortevole, letti comodi. Lettini comodi e nuovi e begli ombrelloni sul lungo lago. Tanti approdi sul lago sia per tuffarsi sia per andare in acqua piano piano. Racchette da ping pong a disposizione per giocare nel tavolo all aperto. Seeboden con tutti i servizi dista 5 min in auto. La abitazione C ha 3 camere grandi e da una c’è il terrazzo che guarda il lago.

Tutto ottimo. Unica nota nella abitazione C, i pavimenti in legno scricchiolano sotto i piedi perciò se si ha il sonno leggero e compagni di viaggio che di notte si muovono, si potrebbe essere disturbati, ma il canto degli uccellini compensa senza dubbio.
