Fantastic and homely

Beautiful villa and gardens. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. Patricia went out of her way to help which felt very comforting. Can’t wait to be back.

No lift for the top floor flat but nice wide stone stairs.

The property was beautiful and the staff were very helpful and informative. We had a very pleasant stay at the Villa. Patrica was very kind and accommodating throughout our entire stay!

We chose not to rent a car which made traveling into Borgo and around town somewhat difficult, next time that’s the only thing I would change! Other than that the Villa itself was incredible. We were able to walk 10 minutes to a grocery market and a pizza place for dinner and were extremely satisfied.

Comfortable character perfect to relax

The apartments are very large and comfortable. A beautiful old building nestled in a very small village. Very peaceful and relaxing. The pool is very luxe and we had the benefit of both a shower and a jacuzzi bath.

Wonderful Tuscan experience for quiet holiday amongst hillside countryside.

The Villa Gerini location was perfectly beautiful, the Tuscan apartment extremely clean and picturesque, absolutely meeting our needs! Separate rooms and bathroom level for our grown up children too. The hosts were very attentive, considerate and kind. We stayed for a week, with a family wedding midweek, at the near by Villa Di Striano, which was most convenient indeed. The pool was a great asset in the heat, and well maintained. On two nights we ate at the Ronta village restaurant which was typically Italian and popular with both locals and tourists.

There was very little not to like! A hire car from the airport was definitely a must, as the location is rural/ remote. However, the trains were reliable to Florence, but a good walk from the villa. (There were more trains from Borgo San Lorenzo.) A few midge bites!

Great stay, location & perfect hosts!

What stands out at Villa Gerini are the staff. They went above and beyond at every turn and were brilliant when it came to communication. Wonderful location, near the Mugello Circuit, the views across Tuscany were superb and Villa and gardens had that luxury feel. Would definitely book again. Thank you very much for looking after us.

I really liked the personal touch of the host, the attentiveness, and the great communication!

I was not sure entirely how to manage the heating system, but I didn't really ask the property because it was fine most of the times!

Exceptional

We’ve spend 3 nights at Villa Gerini in August 2020. A stylish apartment with really nice external facilities (garden, swimming pool). The hosts are very kind and were always at their service. They even put some milk & juice in the fridge for our 1-year old kid as a welcome. Would warmly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing time in Tuscany!

Non potevamo trovare alloggio migliore per il nostro weekend con amici. Villa Gerini è molto bella e il nostro appartamento era pulito e spazioso. La villa è circondata da un giardino tenuto con grande cura che include una zona relax con piscina e tavolo ping pong. Lo staff molto disponibile, cortese e professionale.

Ruhig und erholsam

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in herrlicher und ruhiger Lage (mobil sollte man sein) mit tollem Pool zum abkühlen, entspannen und spielen. Das Appartement und Küche haben alles was was man benötigt. Topp Fliegengitter, sodass man gut bei offenen Fenstern schlafen kann. Supernette, herzliche und bemühte Eigentümerin.

Un lugar espectacular, las anfitrionas Patrizia y su asistente estuvieron pendientes de que no nos hiciera falta nada y al no haber más huéspedes durante nuestra estancia, nos asignaron la mejor habitación que disponía de todas las comodidades y más, definitivamente un lugar mágico, una casa muy bien conservada y con todo lo necesario para una estadía inigualable

Es un poco lejos si no vienes en carro particular y si el plan es conocer Florencia debes pensarlo porque es a 1 hora en coche, aparte de eso el lugar es perfecto para explorar los pueblos cercanos de la Toscana Todo es perfecto en esta Villa

Eine ganz außergewöhnliche Villa. Mit privatem Parkplatz, Pool und einem wunderschönem Garten. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich immer um einen kümmern. Es war alles da, was man gebraucht hat. Am besten kommt man mit dem Auto und erkundigt die Umgebung. Vielen Dank für alles!
