Anapuri Villas

Everything! The villa was absolutely beautiful and all the staff were amazing. Big shout out to Oka, Pandu, Ari and the team. It was such an amazing week.

The property might be a bit of a distance from the ‘normal’ tourist areas, but that’s what we realised we loved the most about Anapuri. Beautiful, quiet location. Plus if we wanted to go anywhere, Ame, our driver took us anywhere we wanted and always got us home safely. He also had great suggestions on what we should see whilst in Bali. The property is literally on the beach, like, you couldn’t get any closer. The staff are exceptional! Nothing was a problem. The food was 10/10. We ate at ‘home’ every night & every morning for breakfast because we didn’t want to go anywhere else because the food was so good. They were also very accommodating. We made changes to the menu and it wasn’t a problem at all. We have x4 kids and they wanted more basic food, but it wasn’t a problem to change the menu slightly (like, just a plain cheese pizza with nothing else added on top was a huge hit with my kids) It was so amazing to have a butler service, no need to worry about where to eat. We could just eat at home (Anapuri) and then swim in our very own pool. My daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday and I asked if they could make a x3 Tiered Meringue Cake. I emailed a picture and even that wasn’t a problem. The cake that the staff at Anapuri made was better than my pic I sent! They even set up the birthday decorations I brought over. I truly couldn’t recommend this place enough. I wish I could add more pics.

Only one thing.. the master bedroom has a wooden bed frame that makes a loud noise when you first climb into bed. So if you got up during the night, you would wake the other person. That is literally the only thing that is ‘negative’ the bed otherwise was comfy.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It ws prepared at a time that suited us between 7 and 10am. The lunch and dinner menu was extensive and met the needs of our whole family. The staff were always very attentive and no request was too much trouble. The villa was spacious and well appointed with plenty of areas for the whole family to chill out and relax. The location was peaceful and secluded, but a long way away from any major supermarket or tourist area. We were lucky to have a driver 'Eka' every day (one of the highlights of the villa), which made getting around very easy. Eka not only drove us where we wanted to go, he also imparted a wealth of local knowledge as we travelled around. Our villa manager 'Ana' and her staff were absolutely delightful-they couldn't be faulted.

The Villa is clearly fairly old now and some of the furniture is quite tired and worn. The Pool was clean but had a number of chipped tiles and broken pavers. As much as having staff was a real treat, it sometimes felt a bit weird not being able to just go and make a hot drink. It didn't take too long to get used to though :-)

The food was delicious and the service was excellent

They should really do a good job of insecticide. They really need it
