Geralda Cottage Jugiong

We had a lovely stay in Jugiong, communication with Chris was extremely helpful. Very comfortable accommodation. Ideal accommodation for the event we were attending in town. No washing machine available at the house so come prepared.

We had a wedding to go to close by and a recovery party at the Sir George so we decided to stay at Geralda Cottage. It is a lovely country cottage that is very private with beautiful views. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house unfortunately as we had plenty organised over the weekend, but it’s in a great location and walking distance to town. Everything you need is in the kitchen and we were left with lots of lovely treats which was a nice touch. If there was a negative it would be there is only one bathroom and the toilet is in the bathroom. I knew that from the listing and it was a negative for me prior to booking, but thought it would be ok, as there was only 4 of us, so I went ahead and booked. We would stay again.

My group of friends and I went to Jugiong for a weekend to celebrate one of our 40th birthdays. The location of the cottage is perfect - a short walk to the main strip of shops, cafes, pub etc. while still feeling secluded and private. The house itself accommodated 7 of us very comfortably. It was clean, tidy, lovely decor and well-stocked with some creature comforts, which I haven't always had with other Stayz properties so I appreciated this. Chris and Robin were great hosts - excellent communication throughout the whole process from the initial booking, through the lead up to our arrival plus during the stay if we needed. We enjoyed cheese and wine on the back deck in the evening and had our morning coffees on the sunny front porch each morning. There are amazing countryside views and we had some visits from birds and a bunny in the garden. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a getaway with friends and for families with young kids too. We loved it!

We loved our stay at Geralda Cottage! Halfway between our home and Sydney it was the perfect place for our 6 night stop-over with our Labradors. The cottage had almost everything you could want and the huge yard (fully fenced) had Lochie, Ness and Grace occupied the whole time.Jugiong has become a Mecca since the rebirths of the Long Track Pantry and St George Hotel. Both are must attend venues!The views from the front verandah of the cottage were stunning, with beautiful sunshine and much needed rain setting up the greenest scenes down to the Hotel and across the valley and Murrumbidgee River.Thank you Chris and Robin ILES. Well be back for sure!
