About this country house rental
'Gite les Pyrénées' is one of three beautiful gites in 'Barès' a traditional farmhouse dating from the 18th century in the heart of the countryside of the Haute Garonne. The beautifully converted hay loft has stunning views of the surrounding hills and the Pyrenees an hour away. It has a large private balcony terrace and shared use of the luxury 10 X 5m pool and 1.5 hectares of grounds. Complete tranquility in the heart of rolling countryside (you’ll need a car!), yet only 55 minutes from the ancient city of Toulouse and its airport and 1.5 hours to the nearest ski resort.
The gite is fully-equipped, comfortably sleeping two (but with extra double sofa bed if required). There is satellite TV (UK, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish and others), DVD player and free wi-fi. The double bedroom leads off the huge living room, with TV, settee, two armchairs, sofa-bed, tables and chairs. There is a large bathroom with shower and a well-equipped kitchen with gas hob, microwave oven and fridge. All bedroom and bathroom linen is provided. The bed will be made up for you on arrival and there will be a ‘welcome pack’ with all the breakfast essentials and a bottle of wine.
At Gites de Barès you will find a sense of peaceful seclusion, surrounded by the unspoilt countryside of the Haute Garonne, an undiscovered secret of the Midi-Pyrenees in South West France. The perfect spot to stop the world and get off for a while!

Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und sauber!
Wir hatten die obere Wohnung im Haus mit 2 Personen gemietet ! Diese wird für 4 Personen angeboten ist aber für 4 Erwachsene nach unserer Meinung zu klein! ( Schlafsofa )
Nach unseren täglichen Motorradtouren freuten wir uns hierher zurück zu kommen und den Rest des Tages zu genießen!
Wir kommen wieder!!!!!

We stayed for three nights in October to celebrate our Silver Wedding.The gite has fantastic views towards the mountains, across fields and hills. The terrace is wonderful especially at dusk when you can light the candles and the lights around the property come on. The gite is comfortable and cosy with all amenities. The hosts have made a beautiful garden and the pool is the best we have had the pleasure to swim in. There is a welcome pack with essentials so no need to stop at the shop before arrival. The local town, L’Isle en Dodon has all that you might want. This location is a brilliant place as a base for exploring the region but it is also a wonderful setting for a restful holiday. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
