Large duplex studio at the corner of the town hall square

This is a quintessentially Parisian apartment! Paul was a fantastic host, helpful and responsive. We loved the location! Everything in the apartment worked beautifully. Absolutely charming. That being said, the listing isn't clear that adults can not stand up in the bedroom loft. Since we are older adults, this was challenging for us. The bed was comfortable once we got there. Also, we were there during Paris's terrible heat wave. An excellent fan was provided, which helped. The air conditioner works moderately well, but in the severe heat, it wasn't strong enough for us to sleep upstairs even with the fan. The pull out mattress in the couch is quite noisy and not very comfortable, this is where we ended up in the heat. However, this weather isn't common for Paris. It was just unfortunate for us. (If you've never used a portable air conditioner that uses a hose going out the window, be sure to get instructions before you need it. ) It did provide enough relief that we could endure the heat wave. If you need to have the windows open, we found it very noisy at night in summertime. However, this is all to be expected in Paris! Overall, we had a delightful time in this very Parisian apartment. It was a great location with easy access to the metro. This is a perfect location if you are planning to shop in the Marais. The apartment was immaculate and charming. The bathroom was very large and well organized. Paul was an excellent host.

You can’t beat the location. Right in the middle of the Marais district with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, including Notre Dame. The Metro is right in front of the apartment building which made traveling very convenient. Paul was very responsive to our needs. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful location and well-stocked kitchen. The only thing not accurate about the description is the lack of a dryer. I hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Le Marais! The location was absolutely amazing, it is quiet, safe, and walkable to so many cafés,shops, bakeries, and major sights. It truly felt like the perfect Paris home base.The apartment itself was very clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out. We especially appreciated having enough room to comfortably lay out our suitcases, which can be hard to find in Paris apartments. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed during our stay.The loft bed does have short ceilings, exactly as mentioned in the listing, but we actually loved the cozy setup and found it added to the charm of the space. The pull-out futon was also comfortable and worked well for our son. One of the best parts was how incredibly quiet the apartment was at night despite being in such a lively and central area. We slept very well here and would absolutely stay again. Truly the best VRBO we have ever stayed at.
