Een prima locatie om het Krka NP uitgebreid te verkennen. Goed onderhouden tuin en zwembad. Ofschoon we ons 1 uur te laat aanmeldden werden we toch vriendelijk opgewacht door een buur. Eigenlijk een best aangenaam en comfortabel huis maar ….

De keukenuitrusting heeft een grondige update nodig (doorgebrande pannen, slechts 4 wijnglazen, defecte koffiemachine, enkele kapotte kasten…)

A delightful spacious villa in rural Croatia on the edge of Krka National Park. A 30 min drive to Sibernik which is a must to visit (far quieter, cheaper, accessible and even more beautiful than Split). Clean accommodation and a fantastic, well maintained pool for the family that kept the kids entertained all week. Countryside photos show the vicinity a short walk from the villa on the border of the park. The landlord was fantastic, polite and very generous, with gifts of local fruit and a liquor on arrival. For those who want to see true rural village life in a beautiful part of Croatia then this is well worth the money. It has air conditioning downstairs but despite 30 degrees we didn’t need it because the open plan and tiled floors kept it cool. A lovely quiet restaurant / bar is only a short walk away (few 100m). True countryside living where this appeared to be the only tourist villa in the village, so there is nothing commercial about this at all. A real rural ‘getaway’!

Yes the beaches and towns, and shops require a car but that distance makes it all so much more peaceful.
