The Stable is a barn conversion located on a working farm in the Eden Valley in Cumbria, 3 miles from the village of Maulds Meaburn. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms - one ground floor king-size double, one double and one twin. There are also a ground floor bathroom and first floor shower room. The living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen with dining area, utility and sitting room with open fire and French windows to an outdoor patio area. There is ample off road parking. With the lovely scenery of the Eden Valley within easy reach and the Lake District within touring distance, The Stable makes a great base for a relaxing holiday.
Amenities: Oil central heating with additional heating from open fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD player, WiFi. Fuel, power and all fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Lockable bike storage. Sorry, no pets inside house (external heated kennel available for one dog by arrangement with owner). Stable for one or two horses to share, by arrangement with owner. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: This is a working farm and children should be supervised at all times. Note: The owner can provide a farmhouse breakfast at additional cost, by prior arrangement.
