It was a wonderful experience staying in this "country inn". We booked this for our stay in Berchtesgaden, because we wanted to be away from the town and out in the fields and the mountains, and we were not disappointed! The pension itself is beautifully situated, and we had a room with a balcony, from which we could gaze up the valley towards the Wimbachklamm (the gorge of the Wimbach stream, well worth a visit). For lovers of tradition, this place is a pure delight, with original paintings of the surrounding scenery adorning the walls, and even some "Lüflmalerei" scenes painted on the walls themselves. We ate in the restaurant every evening, and we strongly recomment the menu. The staff were all charming and helpful.

Super aardige eigenaars, die geheel klaar staan om de gasten geheel naar hun zin te maken. Ook zijn zij snel met het beantwoorden van berichten, toen wij regelmatig in de file stonden.
Een pracht van een locatie, waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen en de schone lucht kunt proeven. Binnen een paar minuten ben je bij de Königssee en de Hintersee. Het hotel heeft ook een heerlijke restaurant. Reserveren is geen overbodige luxe.
De kamers hebben een echte Alpensfeer. Daar kwamen wij ook voor. Badkamer is misschien niet de grootste die wij ooit zijn tegengekomen, maar deze voldeed verder volledig aan onze wensen. Ook complimenten voor de presentatie en aanbod van het ontbijt, waar altijd iemand in de buurt was om jou vragen te beantwoorden, of je wensen te vervullen.
Is er een minpuntje? Het is eerder een tip voor de volgende gasten: in de avond, wanneer het restaurant open is, zijn de plekken op het parkeerterrein schaarser.

Schön rustikal und sehr nettes Personal
Wir hatten 5 Zimmer und in einem gab es leider kein warmes Wasser, zum duschen viel zu kalt.
In den anderen Zimmern hat es recht lange gedauert bis warmes Wasser kam.
