About this villa rental
This very attractive property with private swimming pool is located in an exceptionally panoramic position among olive groves, in the hills between the medieval city of Lucca and the Versilia coast. The house was meticulously restored from what were formerly an olive mill and a barn, now connected by a large entrance hall and terrace. The result is an impressive stone-built building. Attention has been given to using only traditional materials as well as modern comforts such as a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi connection, ceiling fans in every room. The interiors have been tastefully furnished with great care in a country yet elegant style and ecah bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The structure of La Sorgente makes it ideal for groups of friends looking to spend their holiday in Tuscany together while retaining their own privacy as the house is divided into two different areas.
The very well groomed garden and terraces offer the guests many lovely corners where guests can sit outside and enjoy the views of the countryside. The swimming pool has a salted water filter system that avoids the use of chlorine. The location of the house, its efficient insulation, and the presence of ceiling fans in every bedroom ensure that the temperature at La Sorgente remains comfortable even during the hottest nights of the summer.
This beautiful farmhouse is ideally located for thos looking to relax in the countryside as well as being able to explore Tuscany and its many attractions. 5 minutes away from La Sorgente there is a small country village with some food shops and at short drive guests can reach the beautiful walled city of Lucca. Not far also the seaside resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi and the artsy town of Pietrasanta.
Cleaning service is included 4 hours a day, 3 days a week.

We had a wonderful time at beautiful villa La Sorgente. Magical sunrises and sunsets with a sky full of colors. We have enjoyed eating and drinking at the beautiful patio. We also took a trip to lovely city of Lucca.
We will absolutely come back to visit beautiful Tuscany and Villa La Sorgente.

Good 4 weeks has passed since we left La Sorgente. Kristin and I would like to thank you for all your efforts making our stay special. We were very happy in La Sorgente and Damiano albeit we were unlucky with the cold spring, which of course was beyond the control of all of us. We probably extended the season four you all commencing our stay 14. February but it served a purpose for us. After leaving we had one week in Norway before we did the Amalfi coast and Capri. So beautiful, in fact you live in probably the most picturesque country imaginable.
We were very happy with the staff provided. Vasili, Marinella, Simone and yourself all made your utmost to make us feel welcome. I kindly also ask you to convey the appreciation to them as well.
