About this house rental
Sunrise cottage boasts an unobstructed view. It is located less than 2 min away from the town hall, shops, the post office, and so on. From the cottage, you can visit everything on foot. The cottage is 27 km away from the airport. To come, you can rent a car at the airport, which is simpler and will give you a lot of freedom. However, upon request, we can meet you at the airport. Furthermore, close to the cottage, it is possible to practice fishing, deep-sea diving, swimming at any time, canoeing, resting under the sun on the terrace leading to the beach cradled by the trade winds, or enjoying stand up paddle. On Wednesday, you can listen to the training sessions of Femmes Ka in front of the cottage. On Saturday morning, one can find a local market less than 2 minutes away. There are merchants offering sorbet, pistachio, coconut sugar, and much more, prepared in the Caribbean way, some days of the week and almost every Saturday and Sunday. The market is lively and reflects the Caribbean spirit. In addition, Le Moule is a historic town in the Caribbean with many places to visit. Why? Firstly, the Gardel sugar factory is the only factory in Guadeloupe. Damoiseau distillery offers the Damoiseau Rhums, which has been awarded many times due to its exceptional quality. The Edgar Clerc Archeological Museum describes and shows vestiges of ancient Caribbean communities. In Le Moule, do not forget to visit Les Grands Fonds viewpoints to discover the mills used during the period of slavery. Finally, visiting the colonial house of Le Moule is a must. Le Moule is the most important city in Guadeloupe due to its commercial harbour. From the cottage, you will see the anchors that support this statement. The cottage is built on the ancient stones of the harbour. Le Moule is a cultural enrichment that is worth a visit.

We had a lovely stay at Eric's. The Gite is in a great location, overlooking the sea. You can hear the waves at night.We spent a lot of our spare time on the terrace chilling out. Eric is located next door if you have any queries.The beds were comfy and the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well and weren't noisy.You can easily walk into Le Moule for the shops selling food and clothing. Le Moule is also a good location to explore the whole of Grande Terre. A car is a must if you want to get around, and we could easily park up each afternoon, outside of the Gite.We enjoyed Le Moule as it didn't feel 'touristy' but you could access those areas if you wanted to. There is a beautiful small beach within a 12 minute easy walk. We would go back. Thank you Eric and Zina.

The Sunrise Cottage was the best accomodation we had during our three weeks stay in Guadeloupe!
The cottage is perfectly located in the village Le Moule, everything is in walking distance (restaurants, bakery, supermarkets, nice beach (Plage L'Autre Bord), etc.). You sleep literally above the waves. The terraces (one covered) are for your private use and the reality is even better than the pictures displayed.
The house is very airy, very well equipped and maintained. Kitchen, bathroom, etc. are spotlessly clean.
Eric and his wife are perfect hosts. There was a very warm welcome and also during our stay we felt that they really care about their guests.
Regarding Le Moule: it is the perfect place to stay if you want to discover Grand-Terre (and even Basse-Terre is not too far). It is far less touristy than the south of the island. The beach of l'Autre-Bord (in walking distance) is never crowded and if you prefer the shallow beaches, Sainte-Anne and Port-Louise are just a few Kilometers away.
When returning to Guadeloupe, I would stay here again.

Merci à Zénia et à Éric pour ce magnifique séjour au gîte Le Sunrise.
Le gîte est confortable, propre et bien équipé.
Vue exceptionnel.
Nous avions une voiture de location et avons pu découvrir l’ensemble de Grande-Terre et profiter de ses superbes plages. Nous partions après la grasse matinée et revenions en fin d'après midi et à chaque fois nous avions l’impression de rentrer à la maison.
Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité et avons eu la chance de découvrir le dynamisme du Moule.
Merci Zénia pour ton accueil chaleureux et attentif.
Et surtout merci pour ces langoustes fraîches ;)
