Résidence Tropicale

We stayed for a week and enjoyed it. Claudia (owner) was very pleasant. PRO's Studio with bedroom and outdoor dining room. Comfortable, clean bed. Enough space for my wife and I. There is a third bed in the room. Semi-Outdoor kitchen and dining room, separated by sliding glass door. Patio has floor to ceiling electric shutter, and awning. Nice view of the sea. CON's No face cloths. No hairdryer. No USB charging ports - though owner said she would add them. No elevator. Studio is up one staircase. Parking can be tight.

Nice and quiet place. The only recommendation for the hotel would be to have screens installed on the patio door in the room.

Do not stay here if you aren't use to luxury hotels. These are more like condos therefor there are no amenities like a pool or Gym. Wifi is only in a "wifi" room/building located near the entrance of the hotel. The staff doesn't speak English but they do try their best to be helpful. The room was simple but EXACTLY as pictured. Nothing less nothing more. The location of the hotel is about out of the way from most of the major tourist attractions but being that the island isn't so small isn't not a big problem. DEFINITELY rent a car. It isn't about 15-20 minutes to Saint francis and 30 minutes from Saint Anne with traiffic. There is a nice beach very close to the hotel which was definitely a plus. There are a lot of places to eat and hang out but unfortunately many of them close very early (8 or 9pm). The city of Le Moule is rather small and quaint. Not much to do within it but Iran nice to drive through. There is a distillery nearby but there are no tour guides and all of the plaques information are in French. Overall I will most likely not stay here again if I can find a comparable hotel closer to St Anne or Le Groiser. But once again the deal isn't so good it's hard to beat.

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Rooms are large and well decorated. There are some pictures on walls. There is kitchen in the room with microwave, electric range, dishes, kettle, cups...Very good location near beach. Wonderful sea view from big balcon. But staff dont speak English, only French. Reception works only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. sauf week-end. I came late evening and called to hotel in French language, they left the keys to my room, the hotel parking lot and hotel entrance in restaurant near hotel. Also I check-out early morning and I left all keys in an envelope under the door of the restaurant.
