¡Una experiencia maravillosa! Estuvimos en esta casa rural con la familia y nos encantó. La ubicación es realmente especial, con mucha tranquilidad, ideal para desconectar. La casa estaba muy limpia, bien equipada y con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda. El dueño ha sido muy amable y atento en todo momento. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

Lovely place 300 years old with walls around 3 foot thick No air con as it's not needed nice & cool inside nice to stay in a it of Spanish history You will need to speak Spanish as the owner speaks very little English

I didnt fully understand it's a self catering place But couple of bars nearby if you dont want to cook

If I were in a large group of related Spanish-speaking persons in warm weather, it would be fine.

1. This was not rural tourism. The location is more or less a suburb of Toledo. 2. Host’s daughter spoke very little English and host spoke none. Communication was barely possible even though I filtered my booking.com searc for English speaking host. 3. Premises available to guests was very cold. Bedroom warmed up after awhile but common areas remained much colder. 4. This lodging is private only in terms of the bedroom and bathroom. All other areas were common to guests who might occupy the other three rooms. 5. The host provided some boxed juices, tea, and coffee (coffee maker). Although breakfast was advertised as included, it consisted of loaves of industrially-baked white bread in plastic bags and a large pile of cellophane wrapped yellow muffins/cupcakes that presumably had no expiration date. Standard kitchen equipment was provided. 6. The host had almost no idea about local restaurants, which seem not to operate at all in that area on Monday and Tuesday (some weekends only). The only area restaurant opened at 7:30 in a hostel whose dining area was part of a bar with smokers around. We tried to find restaurants up to 12 km away and found nothing. We finally found a local pub with a single attendant who tried his best to understand us and come up with a salad (of sorts) and a plate of fried calamari. 7. The address street of this “bodega” was surprisingly busy and noisy, so we changed our minds and took the rear twin room.
