We were able to get into our room early which was a huge bonus for us after a long night of flying into Lisbon.
The room they gave us was probably closed up for a while so it was very musty. They did send the maids to the room and it was better after that. The smell did linger, but with being on the ocean, it's always hard to get rid of damp, musty smells.

The views from the room are stunning, especially at sunrise, and the breakfast is amazing, with a wide variety of products and healthy options. I found the staff to be friendly, pleasant, and helpful, and this, together with the location near the seafront promenade and the parking always available at the door of the room, makes the stay comfortable enough for a short trip.
The broken lamps and sockets make the stay a little uncomfortable. Also, a slightly unpleasant cheese smell coming from the refrigerator doesn't help make it any better. The bathroom is old and poorly lit, one of the light bulbs was burnt out, and the shower is so small that you can hardly turn around or bend down.
Another issue is that you can find a whole busload of people having breakfast at 7:30 a.m. who leave nothing behind.
