Big rooms, nice staff, cleanliness. Everything was great except the spa was underwhelming

The room was really big and comfortable.
Balcony was enough big.
Breakfast was enough.
The room was a bit dusty. It must be cleaned with the vacuum cleaner better. But this was not a big problem. The most disguting situation we faced durin our stay was at the swimming pool.
On our second evening, we went to the swimming pool with our 2 kids. Half a hour after us, 4-5 men came to the pool with their underwears (no swimming clothes) and they swam just with their boxers. One of them was laying in the sauna just with towel and no underwear or swimming clothe under the towel. I guess they were not staying at the hotel, they paid the spa price and used the spa daily. But, this was not acceptable for a 4 star touristic hotel.
I am not sure if I will stay here again at my next visit. 🤔

However, there were some negative aspects that unfortunately affected our stay. We had booked a transfer with the hotel well in advance for a very special evening my niece’s birthday. The request had been confirmed directly by the staff, but despite this, after waiting for more than half an hour no transfer showed up. In the end, we had to take a taxi so as not to miss the evening. This was quite disappointing, especially because we had relied on the hotel’s organization for such an important occasion. I had also asked if it was possible to arrange a small surprise in the room for the birthday, but unfortunately, nothing was prepared.
We also used the spa and the indoor pool, which were included in our stay. Unfortunately, the pool water was extremely cold, and we had to leave almost immediately without enjoying it. I believe this service could be improved significantly, as heated water would make a big difference in the guest experience.
Breakfast was abundant and offered a decent variety, but the quality of some products seemed below expectations for a hotel of this level.
We stayed at Ibis Styles Sarajevo and overall, the hotel made a good impression. The property is very large and modern, the rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and above all very clean. We slept really well, the beds were comfortable and the soundproofing was good, which allowed us to rest properly something that was very important for us. The hotel also offers many services, which was one of the reasons why we chose it.
On a very positive note, the reception staff were always kind, helpful, and ready to assist us whenever we needed support. They helped us several times to call taxis and provided useful information about the city, always showing courtesy and professionalism.
