About this cottage rental
Your home base for all of the great summer activities that Glen Arbor and Leelanau county have to offer. This recently renovated 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage is in the heart of downtown Glen Arbor. Literally steps from the beach, shops, restaurants, the local coffee roasters, full-service grocery store and Glen Lake. As we are minutes from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, you can enjoy an 'Up North' vacation with all the conveniences of town! We are conveniently located near some of the best hiking and wine tasting in the area.
Two of the bedrooms have a queen size beds while the third being a 'kids room' with a twin and trundle bed. A second “den” or sitting room has a small couch and tv. The cottage comfortably accommodates 6 people. A full size and fully equipped kitchen plus washer & dryer, 2 baths, a spacious living room & dining area, and large back yard with charcoal grill and fire ring make this a truly welcoming and carefree environment to share time with family & friends! Stay connected with free WIFI and cable. Enjoy bike riding, playing board games, and walking on the beach.
The main attraction is the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You are minutes from the beach in Glen Arbor, Glen Haven, the Dune Climb and the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, all must sees. Take a relaxing trip down the Crystal River via kayak, canoe or paddle board; Crystal River Outfitters is just down the road. Hire a fishing boat and try your luck at hooking a wild salmon or lake trout. Enjoy sightseeing on M-22 and tour the peninsula's charming villages and numerous wineries. Dining options range from family fare to the truly gourmet and farmer's markets provide the freshest ingredients for your own delicious 'home cooked' meals. And if you're looking for a more cosmopolitan experience, Traverse City has a thriving and bustling downtown with a historic movie theater, pristine lakeshore and countless shops, restaurants and breweries. The location is ideal for access to hiking/biking trails, lakes, eateries, markets and outfitters. The cottage has a well stocked kitchen and outdoor gear.

Great spot right in town. Lots of live music, good local restaurants and shops. House was clean and perfect for what we needed. 2 parents, 2 adult children and 2 teens with plenty of rooms for all to be comfortable. The 2 bathrooms were a lifesaver! Host was great and responded quickly! Great place to stay. And down the street to Lake Michigan, maybe a 5 mins walk. Can’t beat the location.

We had an excellent stay in Glen Arbor. This house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and in a perfect location! We especially enjoyed evening fires listening to live music across the street. The owner was extremely attentive and helpful!

I will start with the good- the location is great and very close to town and beach. The extras they had included were nice- the ping pong and paddle boards! We have been coming to Glen Arbor for years and really enjoy all of the things to do in the area. The house itself was very cute and in a great location. We felt the place was pretty dirty and that may be the fault of the cleaning service they use. Other little things - the closets were very cluttered and messy and we had to have the bikes serviced to use them. The only working tv with cable is in the living room and there’s no full length mirror or any fans (the AC didn’t work well) . When we opened the windows at night they made creaking noises. These are things I would have appreciated knowing before booking and could easily be updated by the owners. The owners seemed very nice when I addressed a couple of concerns at the beginning. Like I said, it was a nice property and location but for the money, I expected more…
