Close to the sea and had a swimming pool and sauna on site - loved the local area around Romney Marsh
It was near a main road and the cabins were quite close together - it looks different on the website and wasn’t as peaceful. Also we thought we had our own hot tub but this wasn’t the case - the wording online is confusing

Great site, high quality cabins, super comfy beds, beautifully designed and cosy. Reassuringly sturdy and quiet even in stormy weather. Well thought out facilities, set up to encourage families and friends to connect, enjoy the wild outdoors and get back to basics. Comfy, scandi style interiors and communal areas. We particularly loved the fire pits and cosy breakout areas. Nice touches everywhere, including wooden old school games to play together (think giant jenga, dominoes, chess and ping pong). Friendly staff on hand to help. A great experience!
Cost of extras was excessive, e.g. £10 each for 2 hours hire of go karts for kids to use on site. Provided brief fun but they were difficult for kids to use, and needed us to push them a lot and guide around rabbit burrows, so not worth the money. This kind of thing should be free to use as and when in my opinion.
We felt hot tub sessions should be unlimited too (or at least 2-3 sessions included), as 1x 30min slot is not enough considering the nightly cost.
Other than that couldn't really fault Cabu by the Sea!

Staff were super friendly & helpful. Facilities are great - loved the common areas with the fires and pizza ovens. I'm told by my wife that the spa/massage was great. Everything you need on site if you want it - coffees, drinks, snacks, dinner options - equally close enough to everything if wanted to venture out. Cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed - hot tub was great!
Quite close to the main road so inevitably a bit of traffic noise when outside or in the hot tub as our cabin was one of the closest to the entrance. But a very minor "observation" that didn't spoil our stay.
It's perhaps a little pricey but wasn't not worth the money (if that makes sense?)

so relaxed the pillows and duvets where like sleeping on a cloud :)
check out had to rush they changed one or our cabins to early check out without telling us in advance
