La Torre is a beautiful farmhouse situated on a hill covered with olive groves, between Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona, in a panoramic position. You will be bewitched by the splendid view of the castle of Montecchio, which stands right in front of the windows of the house with its crenellated walls and its majestic tower.
The house is especially suitable, in our opinion, for those who wish to relax while enjoying the colours and rhythms of the Tuscan countryside.
From the farmhouse you will be able to reach the towns of Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona in a few minutes by car. The two towns are the most important in the valley and in every season of the year, they will entertain you with cultural initiatives and colourful folklore events.
Every evening it will be difficult to choose whether to dine in Cortona in the main street of Rugapiana or in one of the characteristic alleyways, or whether to enjoy a walk along the cobbled streets through Porta Fiorentina or Porta Romana in Castiglione.
You will have at your disposal a cool, enclosed garden, equipped with outdoor furniture and shaded by olive trees, certainly the strong point of the house. Here it will be pleasant to rest on hot summer days to enjoy a healthy coolness while admiring the castle and the suggestive panorama below. Furnishings and details, well cared for and comfortable, will welcome you in a warm and hospitable atmosphere. Even your small size pets are welcome at La Torre.
