About this house rental
On the last floor there is the house's private pool and sunbeds as well as outdoor shower for those who wish.
The house is newly renovated (2017) and offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The large open plan kitchen is located on the first floor and offers a kitchen, dining room and living room in one. There is plenty of seating both in the living room and around the generous dining table. On this floor you also find 2 of the bedrooms and a bathroom.
Downstairs are 2 further bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a second living room. In this living room there is a sofa bed for 2 people. On this plane is also a washing machine.
All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning but there are also floor fans for those who prefer it. The house is equipped with wifi and has good coverage all over the plot. In the lower living room there is a TV. A large gas grill is available in connection to the outdoor dining area.
The house holds a very high standard but the unique thing about this villa is the view. A blue Mediterranean is just below the foot of the mountain and the view is miles wide. On a clear day you see Ibiza in the horizon.
Around the pool, which measures 5 x 4 meters, are comfortable sun loungers and an outdoor shower.
The rental includes departure cleaning, bed linen and towels for both shower and pool. If you stay for 2 weeks, a cleaning service is included halfway through your stay.
The house is located in the villa area of Maryvilla on Monte Toix's hillside. Down to the town of Calpe it takes 5 minutes by car. Calpe has 30,000 inhabitants in the winter, but the number increases to almost 200,000 in the summer. Calpe, located 45 minutes north of Alicante, offers everything you could want from a summer vacation; long sandy beaches, many restaurants and bars and good shopping. For those who prefer to cook at home, there are plenty of very good, large grocery stores in the area.
If you do not want to go down to town, there are several good restaurants in the villa area. There is also a small beach that is never as full as the beaches in the city center.
At the foot of Ifach, the mountain that divides Calpe into two, lies the town's fish market. Starting at 17.00 you can buy fresh fish here 6 days a week. Ifach, which is 380 meters high, is ideally suited for exciting climbing on foot or by rope. If you choose the hiking route up, it will take about 1 hour to reach the summit. The views are stunning and worth the trouble of climbing.
The surrounding area offers several golf courses, small villages perfect for day trips, and perfect roads for road cycling.
The best way to get to Calpe is to fly to Alicante and then drive the last 6 miles which takes about 45 minutes.
