Cape Harbor Motor Inn

The location is great, it was only a few blocks from the beach so we loaded up our beach cart and walked. We also had bikes that we were able to lock up at the hotel and take around the neighborhood. The pool was great too, very clean and close to our room.

This motor lodge is very affordable compared to most hotels and motels in Cape May. We were aware that it isn’t a five-star property with all the bells and whistles, but it still exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness. The front desk staff was extremely friendly, and both the pool and outdoor bathroom areas were spotless. Our room was simple, with a queen bed and bathroom, but also included a sink, cabinets, and a fridge—which was a nice bonus. Everything was very clean and well maintained, making it perfect for a one- or two-night stay.

A downside is that it is a bit of a walk to Washington Square and the beach, although there is a Jitney available for transportation. We chose to drive instead for convenience and we didn't mind; we knew that going into this! While we weren’t expecting anything fancy, the only improvement we would suggest is a more comfortable mattress or a mattress topper. The bathroom is a bit small for our toiletries, but the table and shelving unit were helpful! We would definitely consider staying here again!

Nice pool, well kept, the location was good, near beach and restaurants. Housekeeping did a good job of refreshing the room each day.

Deferred maintenance, the pool area was well kept but our room needed an update. The carpet was worn, the bathroom vanity was rotted at the base, missing lightbulbs in the bathroom. Outdoor floor outside of second floor rooms was worn and needs attention.
