About this villa rental
In the heart of the Tuscan hills between Pisa and Florence, surrounded by nature, the "Podere Il Leccione" offers the meeting point between relaxation, fun, art and gastronomy. We will be happy to welcome you in a quiet and familiar environment. Just 2 km from the center of Palaia, surrounded by woods and olive trees, in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, "Il Leccione" offers its guests the certainty of spending a relaxing holiday. Nearby you can find many typical restaurants where you can taste and delight yourself with the genuine and tasty dishes of Tuscan cuisine.
The villa is about 180 square meters large and is finely furnished with the warm and welcoming style of country houses, terracotta floors and ceilings with old exposed wooden beams. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen, a living area, a bedroom and two bathrooms. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The villa is surrounded by a large gravel square dominated by a huge age-old holm oak "IL LECCIONE". On the back of the house there is a swimming pool (7x5), and a large garden with deck chairs, sun beds, umbrellas, barbecue and large patio where you can eat on warm summer evenings.
Its strategic position allows you to reach the major art cities of Tuscany with short journeys: Florence (55 km), Siena (60 km), Pisa (45 km), Lucca (40 km), Volterra (35 km), San Gimignano (40 km).
In addition, the sea is only 45 km away.
You will also find the Golf Course at "Golf Club Toscana Resort" in Castelfalfi (20 km)
SWIMMING POOL: opening from 01 May
TOURIST TAX is not included in the price. The cost is 1 euro per day only for the first 5 days of stay to be paid for guests aged 10 or over.
LPG HEATING is not included in the price. The cost is 7 euros per m3 to be calculated based on actual consumption.
Bath and bed linen included in the price. The weekly change (if required) and the linen requested by the guest in addition to that already supplied are not included in the price. In these cases the price is payable locally.

The whole week was such a fantastic experience. The villa was Located close to Palaia, the motorway to Pisa and Florence and an excellent vineyard who did excellent tours and tasting. Federica’s Mother cooked for us two nights and by the end of the week we regretted not doing it more. Overall Federica and Elisabetta were super helpful and made the trip worth coming back for.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und der Pool super zum Baden! Die Vermieter sind super lieb und nett und stehen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Auch der Vater der Vermieterin ist super lieb und sorgt sich immer im Hintergrund um alles! Die Einrichtung ist typisch Italienisch und in sehr gutem Zustand. Es ist eine sehr idyllische Unterkunft und man hat absolute Privatsphäre...wir kommen sicher wieder:-)

Five old friends stayed here for a week at the end of Sept. and we all fell in love with the house, Palaia and all of Tuscany. Federica was very helpful and made herself available whenever we needed help or advice.
We visited Florence, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca and Siena all in a week so we need to come back as we must have missed so much trying to fit it all in! Even the excitement of the unmade road to the house just added to our enjoyment!
Thank you Federica for a lovely holiday.

Une très bonne adresse pour des vacances calmes et reposantes. Idéal pour deux familles : piscine de bonne dimension, équipements suffisants.
L'environnement est pittoresque: collines boisées, propriété viticole et huile d'olive à proximité.
Très facile pour visiter les villages toscans et les villes importantes. Palaia est un charmant village avec épicerie (alimentari), bars et pizzerias (Villa Borgo, Civetta), même une station essence.
Les propriétaires sont charmants et bienveillants. Merci au gentil papa de Federica : nettoyage quotidien de la piscine et de la terrasse !
A very good place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Ideal for two families: good size pool, ample facilities.
The environment is picturesque with wooded hills, vineyard and olive plantation.
It's very easy to visit the Tuscan villages and major cities. Palaia is a charming village with a "alimentari", bars and pizzerias (Villa Borgo, Civetta), and a gas station.
The owners are lovely and caring. Thank you to the nice Federica's dad : daily cleaning of the pool and terrace!
