Very helpful staff at reception who helped me sort out a dinner booking & transport there for the day after we arrived in Shanghai. We'll placed, very comfortable & spacious rooms.

The only issue I had was the room temperature. It was really cold the night we arrived. I went to reception to enquire & the response was to turn off the air con (that goes to all rooms) but the room still took a couple of days to warm up. Also, the evening meal at the restaurant on Floor 7 was pleasant but I was very glad I hadn't booked breakfast for the 4 night stay, that was disappointing. The only good part was the coffee. Stale croissants & Danish, the butter tasted like it had been left out of the fridge too long or left in the sun. Cold fried eggs.... However I think the restaurant is a separate entity.

La dame de l’accueil très désagréable qui reçoit les clients en fonction des critères qu’elle est la seule à définir dans sa tête, nous avait attribué une chambre en dessous du tarif qu’on avait payé. Elle nous a même dit que si on était pas content elle nous rembourserait pour qu’on parte il était tard dans la nuit on venait d’arriver de Pékin très fatigués. On a tenu bon et finalement c’est à contre cœur elle a consenti à nous donner la chambre que nous avions repérer nous même en montant dans les étages et qui correspondait au tarif supérieur que nous avions payé lors de notre réservation
