Very helpful staff at reception who helped me sort out a dinner booking & transport there for the day after we arrived in Shanghai. We'll placed, very comfortable & spacious rooms.

The only issue I had was the room temperature. It was really cold the night we arrived. I went to reception to enquire & the response was to turn off the air con (that goes to all rooms) but the room still took a couple of days to warm up. Also, the evening meal at the restaurant on Floor 7 was pleasant but I was very glad I hadn't booked breakfast for the 4 night stay, that was disappointing. The only good part was the coffee. Stale croissants & Danish, the butter tasted like it had been left out of the fridge too long or left in the sun. Cold fried eggs.... However I think the restaurant is a separate entity.

Location was good for us.

night-staff check-in staff didn’t know what they were doing. Terrible check-in. We were sent away late at night because they had ‘no rooms’. When we argued they said they do actually have rooms after all! Our reservation was lost.
