The staff member was excellent.

Outdated, looking for festive holiday getaway- but didn't find that. Beds are uncomfortable and hard. Probably due to room location, we heard everything in the hallway and general vicinity, including parking lot and upstairs.

The lodge itself was nostalgic and liked the atmosphere in the basement for breakfast. Felt like a family kitchen. Or a great place to host a camp.

The hotel portion was awful. Very very dirty. Sheets were dirty carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in years. We got a family suite because we went as a family. The bathtub was in the livingroom.

Extremely disappointing

Location

The breakfast was portrayed as a full buffett style meal. The biscuits were still frozen and pasty. The scrambled eggs were watery and the sausage was rubber. My kids wouldn't eat a bite of it. The TV didn't work in the family suite. The beds were very uncomfortable and the water pressure was very low in the shower. The pool and hot tub water was dirty and cloudy. Expected much better for the money I spent.

Location, had a light breakfast

Dated room, no refrigerator or microwave. Front Desk Clerk mentioned that an indoor and outdoor pool was available after check in but my room key would not open the doors to the pools. If you are paying $100 or more for a room there is better value elsewhere.

I like the rustic tone the same theme of it all. I wish they still had the restaurant open.

I didn't like the breakfast it was Shirley. It was making the eggs and gravy and biscuits and waffles and cereal and you know those kind of things, but that sausage will spoil and when I said something to the girl, she was like she doesn't smell it, but you can smell it all the way in the hallway so I don't know I just they need to take a little more care of the food that they're feeding the people I think

Family friendly and clean.

We originally booked the standard Queen room but decided to upgrade to the family suite. The staff were more than willing to accommodate our request. We loved the room and it was very clean!

Solid place to sleep and shower right next to Holiday World

Can’t beat the location for a Holiday World trip. Shower water pressure was excellent. Price wasn’t much more than a hotel in a town 15-30 minutes away.

Breakfast was meh. The eggs were just sitting in a ton of water—gross. Shower was small and the curtain was clinging ti me the whole time. Queen beds were small, more like full beds. Bathroom walls were dirty.

We as a family chose to go home early when we had still paid for another night.

The proximity to Holiday World , but honestly had I known how bad it would be I would’ve just drove the two hours two days in a row.

Everything else. It was not clean, everything was in need of repair, and when I told them I was checking out a day early because I wasn’t satisfied a woman working there laughed at me.

A perfect location, can work on its own as well even if no attractions were nearby

The room was cozy, normal size, big enough to fit 4 people. The bed was a typical hotel bed, comfortable. The breakfast had numerous options, and honestly, the size of the buffet hall was ginormous. They had plenty of options to choose from.

The only thing good about this property is the proximity to Holiday World/Splahin’ Safari

The customer service was subpar. (Except for the waitress working at the breakfast buffet) The property is dated and dirty!!! I wish I could upload the video of the pool area, it is awful!!! Stained and broke pool furniture. Paint peeling on the deck and insides of pool/sauna.

We didn’t get room service the whole stay. They didn’t tell us we needed to hang a card on the door and we didn’t have the card to hang to get cleaned. The beds are very uncomfortable also. Breakfast was nice but no variety each day.

Is was close to holiday world

We had 4 adults two kids there was not enough blankets there was one bar of soap and it was already open ! There was one travel size bottle of shampoo and conditioner … there was not enough towels! And the tile in the bathroom right when you get out of the shower is cracked that I stubbed my foot on it then I had to lay the towel on the floor so the kids could shower and not hurt them selfves on the broken floor ..there was only 4 towels in the entire hotel room it just was not enough for 4 adults and 2 kids .. and I probley would of brung soap and shampoo if it wasn’t stated it would be supplied and seeing how you can see how many guest was staying why would you not atleast stock it for that many people it’s not like I paid $150 to stay the night the one night coasted us over $400 and it just was not a $400 service …

The property was right around the corner- less than 1 mile from Holiday World with a small strip mall and gas station conveniently located across the street.

New pillows, they were old and flat. I wish they had the full restaurant again. So we didn't have to go all over the place to eat I was by myself with two kids and that would have been easier just to eat at the lodge. And a adult area to relax at.

It’s 5 minutes from Holiday World! Fun Christmas decorations everywhere. Super friendly staff. Indoor pool and hot tub. Free breakfast.

Nothing. I’m realistic. This is a small town hotel. It’s not fancy. Some of the facilities are a bit dated and worn down. But for the money it’s the perfect family hotel for a visit to Holiday World. We loved it!
