I would have to say it was a $400.00 a night view. And the staff was very accommodating and pleasant

The view is why they charge $400.00 a night. The location is very convenient for the Uptown area of Sedona. We were able to park but it was a hassle. Great to have a balcony looking at the rocks, the weather was perfect.

No lobby really, minimal amenities, 1970s outdoor corridor entry.

Great stay

Perfect location right in town, rooms clean and comfortable, bathroom large and rooms large. Front desk very helpful , easy check in and out! Free parking. Def an awesome place to stay

We were there for 4 days / 3 nights and we had a card with our cleaning lady’s name in the room but no one cleaned the room any day we were there whatsoever. I am not sure if I was told this though in advance? But we didn’t really mind at all since we had enough towels and didn’t mind the bed not being made (just was 2 of us), just was a little odd. Besides that everything perfect !

It hurts to leave!

Second time to The Matterhorn and I love this place so much it hurts to leave! Fabulous big room with fridge and a balcony with a view to die for. Perfect location right in the middle of town and ideal for exploring. Parking is a big bonus! Take a little extra tip and nip across the parking lot in the morning for coffee at Cuptown coffee, the cutest and friendliest little coffee shop. I hope to be back some day.

Ceiling was a bit thin. We could hear people walking above us and the family up there definitely had a wrestling match everyday. However the front desk was great and asked them to be quiet.

Incredible mountain views!

Huge selling point is the Matterhorn's location and mountain views! Genuinely the best views we ever had from a hotel room. We loved chilling on the balcony, soaking in the town and the views. Beds were really comfy and there was ample parking.

Breakfast is really just a selection of breakfast/granola bars and some fruit, but that's ok as that is what was advertised. No elevator to upper level, but it's only 1 flight of stairs, so not too much trouble. Overall our stay was great!

Great bed but sleep was hard!

Location wise it was good, bed comfy

Really noisy, walls are paper thin. The couple next door were very "vocal" and was enjoying their stay!! The check in was standoffish and the least friendly we have had on our road trip. We tried to ask a question at 7.58am to be told reception won't open until 8am and we had to wait! Pmsl.... If you like sleep, I would avoid

The room was in a great location, very updated, very clean, well-kept property. After a day of hiking, we could park car and walk to dinner and shopping! Very relaxing!

Wonderful!

It was our second time at The Matterhorn this year. We loved Sedona so much the first time that we just had to return for our wedding anniversary. The Matterhorn has wonderful rooms and views! Being able to see Snoopy Rock from our balcony was so great! We will definitely be returning.

The sofa bed was only 2 feet wide and felt like sleeping on a plank with springs underneath. It should have been at least 30-36” inches wide. Also, the light switch to the toilet room needs repair.

Made a reservation of two nights through a 3rd party booking, then extended out stay one night through Matterhorn.com and made notation of this and had converstion of this on our 1st night with two employees. On our 3rd night the staff acted as if it was the 1st time hearing about this even though we were told there was a note in the system and the same two employees were the only ones working the entire stay we had to move to another room our last night of stay. It was an inconvenience, not a HUGE deal but felt it could have been totally avoided considering all rooms were identical and only 26 rooms total. They made it right and it all turned out ok. The pool was cloudy with yellow and black algae spots and the spa on the verge of green, both needed chlorine, we reported this on the 1st night, the pool service came but not much changed.

View was fabulous. The room set up was perfect. Washroom and dressing area in the back was tiled and had two well thought out luggage areas so messy hiking gear can be dumped without disturbing the peacefulness of the large room. Well thought out and comfortable. Would definitely recommend
