Loved the book-lined walls and record player in the room! The restaurant downstairs was so exceptional, we ate there two nights in a row!

Old Pub/Tavern building. Good resaurant who fitted us in on a busy night. Live music in the bar was exceptionally good for free!!! The owner apologised in case it was going to be intrusive, not necessary in our case. It also finished soon after 9.00pm as promised so not disruptive to any bedtime. In fact it encouraged our stay in the bar a little longer.

The location was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.
The room was cold when we got there at about 6 pm. The heater was difficult to use and took a few hours to warm up to a comfortable temperature. There was a dead fly and a live wasp like bug on the window. The coffee machine was out of coffee so we had to go across the street for our first cup. There was no breakfast. There was no one but the two of us in the hotel. We stayed here last November and it was an awesome experience, not so much this time.
