Exceptional location on powder white sand beach. Facility and staff are the best!!

Location is superb, as it is right on the beach! Pelican Isle is not too big or too small. Great pool and hot tub in case the surf to too high. There is a shower to wash the sand off before you go to your room. Beach chairs and umbrella are set up at first light and are included in your your charge. Entire facility is super clean and the staff are over the top friendly, professional and helpful. Maria at the front desk is one of the nicest people we have ever met.

Loved the view from the room and the pool and hot tub. Everything I needed in the kitchen was there so that was great. Ice maker was good too.

The pull out sofa definitely needs to be replaced, and the king sized mattress was bumpy, could also need a replacement. The elevator was down several times during our stay including the check out day , when we had to walk down four flights of stairs with all luggage and no offered help.

First of all , this review is for unit 417, which was switched before the travel experience . Loved: Beach view, beach access, elevator.luggage carts available, care and upkeep of the entire room, wifi, tv, complete stocking of kitchen items needed to cook, working order of all appliances and newness of them also, close parking available, cleanliness of beach and outdoor areas , having washer and dryer on site, having ceiling fans along with air conditioning , close by grocery store, quiet location, helpful friendly desk service people, nice hot tub and pool for laps, which I did not use.

Again, for unit 417…. Dislikes: Unavailability of bringing pets, lack of comfortable chair in living room,(just one sofa), high bar across patio door bottom can easily be tripped over!

Locatio fantastic,

no person ever at the desk. Add hangars to the closet , battteries in remote , no coffee filters. No option to check in early even though we were there early. Seemed like unit was ready.

Closeness to the beach, easy to get to the room from the parking lot/garage, and close to food and shopping.

The couch cushions need to be replaced because they are very worn down which made the couch uncomfortable because we were basically sitting on springs and the hardware.

One elevator NEVER worked and nobody was able to fix it. Sofa in room was horrible, old, and uncomfortable. Had to be 15 years old!

Over all the unit 211 really needs updating. Bed is very uncomfortable. Dryer was not working. They did let us go and dry are clothes so we would have clothes to wear. So that was very appreciated. When you come to a place that says it is stocked with things you need it should be stocked. We had to buy a few things to cook with and there was not even a cookie sheet to use. The back sliding glass door latch was broken and could not lock it. They were using a wood rod to lock it. The floors were not clean and the rug in the living room had a huge stain on it. These same comments from other vacationers about the unit are in there and nothing was ever fixed or changed. Things should be fixed before renting out again.

OVERALL VERY NICE

Wonderful view. Although the building has some age, it is well maintained and clean. The pool and hot tub, as well as the seating area, maintained and kept clean. The lobby is tidy and staff very helpful. Washer and dryer in the unit was a great convenience.

Some of the appliances in the unit could use upgrade. Stovetop burners have seen better days. The skillets and pans could stand an upgrade. The fridge worked great, but $20.00 if appliance paint would do WONDERS for some surface rust. We cooked very little, but did enjoy breakfast in the unit.

Clean condo, everything else miserable, and rude

Breakfast? What breakfast?

Nobody at front desk the whole weekend and we had to call a different condo front desk for help and they were rude and uncaring when we tried to check in, nobody told us the rules for the umbrellas and chairs on the beach, the beach guy insulted us by telling us we could not get an umbrella or chairs in front of everyone else like we were children, yet there was no one on the beach saying we couldn't at the time, the beds were thin and highly uncomfortable, there was a loud knocking next door for hours and when we called the other condo front desk for help, they just didn't care and just said "and?", No filters for the coffee maker, it was a miserable experience and we won't be back and will tell family and friends to steer clear of pelican isle.
