The hotel is very unique. Very old-fashioned. Not like many hotels. It really worked for our travel needs.
I really can’t say anything really bad about the place. The only constructive criticism I could give is I would think that breakfast should be at 6 AM not 8 AM.

Very easy walk to downtown shops and places to eat.
Our room needed blackout curtains and new mini blinds for privacy.

This was our second time in the Silk Mill. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. Walkable distance to the town center and many restaurant and diner options within minutes of walking.
