Beautiful and peaceful

This property was perfect for our anniversary getaway. We stayed in the Magnolia cabin. It was so clean and just perfectly equipped with all of the things we would need. The fire pit and comfy chairs out back was perfect for winding down in the evening and enjoying a glass of wine. The property was beautiful and just the perfect fall setting. We throughly enjoyed the rockers on the back porch each morning with our coffee. I would highly recommend this property and cabin for a perfect getaway.

Nice…until we found a cockroach in the shower

Beautiful location and close to all the best wineries. Short drive to GOTL main strip. View from gewurtztraminer suite overlooks the vineyard.

Our first night, my wife found a cockroach in the shower. It’s very disturbing when you pay good money for a romantic getaway and then discover a roach in the shower with you. Emailed owner to share the feedback and asked for resolution, but response was just “sorry, we try about best to keep it as clean as possible”. I’ve traveled in Sales for 10+ years and stayed in numerous hotels and never once have I found a cockroach in my room. I guess I expected the owner to try a little harder to resolve our complaint.

If the pricing was a bit lower for a weeknight overnight stay, I would consider returning.

The setting and accomodations were nice. Very comfortable. Extra touches were appreciated, ie: creamer and sugar for coffee, popcorn, extra towels, toiletries. Appreciated the closeness to many wineries.

I thought we would have a stand alone villa and the Vineyard Villa had accomodations for three separate parties. I also felt the price was a bit high for the location. While not as nice, staying at the lodge offers a lake view.

No breakfast. Went to Mary’s was great

Liked a lot. Thought room could of had a king vs queen but knew that going in. Stay was great. Also thought directions to correct cottage could of been more pronounced in note

Superb

We loved being able to sit on our own deck taking in the peace and tranquility. The electric fireplace in the bedroom was a personal touch that we enjoyed immensely. Providing a fire pit was another way we got to soak up mother nature and truly unwind. Thanks for the fire starter. We would love to come back and stay in one of the new cottages we saw being worked on.

The bed was more firm than we are used to and I would have liked a tv in the bedroom.

Nice villa overlooking the vineyards and adjacent to a large, wooded area. Construction and furnishings were first rate. A little disappointed that it did not have a small stove to cook on, but we would definitely stay here again.

Our suite had the perfect location, nestled in the woods but with a great view of the vineyard. We loved smelling the grapes in the air.
