Universal's Aventura Hotel

We loved the tablets in the room that allowed you to control the lights, TV, AC, as well as order food and extra toiletries. We loved how close the hotel was to Volcano Bay. We also loved the late night pizza restaurant. Our flight was delayed coming in so we were hungry by the time we got to the hotel.

While this is entirely my fault, I was disappointed that a pair of Teva sandals that I forgot in the room after checking out didn’t turn up when I asked the front desk. The front desk staff was super helpful in calling security to see if anything was turned in (we had checked out at 11am and came back around 3:30pm to get our bags and car). I have a family member who has worked in hotels and knows that anything found is usually turned in to be given a chance to be claimed. I’m still hopeful that maybe they turn up. In any case, I would still stay at this hotel again.

Great location good connection to the parks and have a rental in the lobby for car. The kids love the pizza and the price was amazing. And the bar in the roof was amazing cocktails.

Can do with a handheld shower host for the ladies.

The hotel was beautiful, and our room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was also great, close to Universal, with convenient bus transportation from the hotel to the parks and back. The staff was generally very friendly, although one morning a breakfast staff member was quite unfriendly to my child. We shared our feedback about this during our stay. Other than that, everything went smoothly. A big thank you to the staff and also to the hotel manager, who came to the restaurant one morning and personally asked some of the guests how they were doing. We thought that was a very nice touch.

The pool could open a little earlier, as it would be nice to go for a morning swim. Otherwise, everything was great.

I felt the rooms were a little small, blankets felt like hospital blankets very thin and rough, towels on rough side too. I tried to check kut on ipad but was unable too because I had to go downstairs to pay the balance instead of being able to just oay on ipad. There was only one woman working and it took longer than expected and we needed to get in shuddle to get the early entry. The bartol was bice but food options not really for everyone. Pool was small and nothing exciting. Gift shop employees were awesome and friendly, I like them a lot.
