So grateful to be able to stay in someplace that feels clean and is comfortable.

Outrageously clean! For the price, it just can't be beat!

Just be prepared for no extras- kleenex, bedside lamps, etc. They do provide toilet paper, television, microwave and mini fridge- so really everything most people need.

Stayed one night. It is noisy. Located on a busy street. Its an older hotel so you can hear people in their rooms.

Great place to stay! I have stayed there a few times and it’s always pristinely clean and ready when we arrive. The family that owns / manages it has always been very welcoming and accommodating and the low cash deposit is a huge plus.

Easily accessed from the freeway, the small motel offers small but serviceable rooms.

If you know what you're paying for—a no-frills room suitable for short stays—it's a good value, and this is coming from someone who apparently paid above average. Fridge + microwave are helpful conveniences. Best amenity: surprisingly fast wifi!

Bed was on the firm side, though that can be a matter of taste. Rooms are truly spartan; I wish I'd had more than 2 sq. ft. of table space. There's nowhere to store luggage or hang up a jacket.

Got no sleep.

The rooms were amazingly clean for such an inexpensie motel. Usually they are "dumps" but here it was top quality.

I was looking forward to writing a good review, but the manager and his family ruined the whole experience. They were staying in the room next to me and I awoke to loud talking and laughter at 02:00 which continued all the way until 08:00. I would yell to ask them to keep it down, which they would for a minute or two, and then again loud women talking and later a loud television. If it had been another client, it would not affect my rating. But it was the room where the manager was staying.

The staff at the property were really nicer and made sure I had everything I needed. The property was big, spacious and really clean, small things such as how the towel was folded looked very professional.

Great for basic accomodations

Newport Bay Inn is a basic motel on a busy street (right off of 55 Freeway) but was just fine for my needs while working in the area for a week. I just need a clean bed and shower. The building is an old school small roadside motel that has been updated. My room was surprisingly quiet for being next to a freeway. Parking is available for each room. My small room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean and functional. There is no coffee maker but a small refrigerator and microwave. The owner doesn't speak a lot of English but we got our business taken care of without any confusion. The housekeeper was friendly and made her rounds everyday.

The price was good for a summer rare, but then I found out it was adequately priced.

I was lucky enough to be assigned the room next to the office, where there was talking up to 1a in the morning. I got zero sleep because of tue inconsiderate family who owns/manages the property.

Clean, close, simple, friendly. What more could you ask for (besides a coffee maker)?

The room/bed/bath were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to my activities. The cost was more than affordable. Mini-fridge and microwave were nice, though I did not use them.

No coffee maker. Eek!!! No place within an easy walk to find coffee. Double eek! I would stay here gain, but I'd make sure to bring some instant day starter. Seriously, including a coffee maker would be huge.

Nice, clean, safe, updated motor court inn.

A nice motor court inn. Parking outside door. Very clean. Not a lot of outside noise. Good area - safe. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Older court but well maintained and updated. Nice if there was coffee in the morning. I would stay there again.

Room had bugs, even some in bed and on pillows. Staff just said "sorry". I was only there for 1 hour, they didn't offer to refund me anything towards my stay.

Sketchy Location, Does not look like a safe area

It seemed somewhat clean and the room had the bare minimum stuff but the location was very sketchy. Not the best part of town and definitely not safe.

I had a great stay, the staff was nice and I’d definitely consider it again.

The lady who helped us check in was very kind. The room was comfortable and had a fridge along with a microwave. The internet worked well and the tv had cable. They made sure our toiletries and towels were always stocked. I personally found it was at a good location from restaurants, coffee shops and a short drive to the pier.
