Lokal Hotel Old City

Excellent location steps from many attractions in old city and the downtown area. Fantastic communication with staff.

We stayed at Lokal Hotel Old City, a loft-style hotel that somehow makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a local who just happens to have excellent taste in neighborhoods. Also apparently the kind of place where people accidentally leave their trousers in the dryer for the next guest. Which honestly tracks with Philly’s energy. Because the people here are absurdly kind. The type to hand you their umbrella in the rain without hesitation. BTW, we left the umbrella in the room along with the rain jacket and those trousers for the next guest😉

I love the location of the hotel! I enjoyed the decor as well.

I thought that the bathroom and the rug in the hotel could've been a little cleaner. The worst part was the level of noise we heard from the guests above us. There was constant stomping late night and early morning the next day.

Room was great. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. Huge space.

Extremely steep steps, no elevator. No one on site. Door code didn’t work and we got dumped on with rain talking to offsite staff to get in with code to a hard key. Shower set up was ridiculously complicated and took 10 minutes of screwing around just to get desired water temp.
