Sweethaven - 3 bedroom

The location and view along with the easy access to the beach was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet as was the house. The house, furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We were there on a cold blustery October week so the forced air heat was nice with separate heat controls for each room. We really enjoyed this place and will plan to return. The view from the living room was amazing.

When we arrived there two keys one didn't fit the entry door the other fit the back door and fit the upstairs door which was confusing, we actually started to unload in the wrong place. It did not look like the one we rented so I called and sure enough we had the wrong one. The keys need to be marked so it is clear.

Our family has been coming to this location since the mid 1980's, our two daughters now adults and married, and my wife and I have enjoyed Sweethaven all these years. We love it! Give our best wishes and thanks to Gail and her family for continuing to make their house available. We hope to plan another trip to Sweethaven with our daughters their husbands and our granddaughter in the near future. Thanks again!

We suggested that some of the kitchen pans be replaced (the coated stick-free pans are pretty worn out and can be a health hazard when the coating is worn out)

Absolutely gorgeous panoramic view. Well appointed and clean. Lovely large dining table big enough for entire party. Kitchen and entertainment equipment in good repair. Nice linens.

Entry hall and deck very cluttered with beach “stuff” and didn’t appear to have been organized or swept ever. Couldn’t really sit out on the small deck due to the mess. Problem with no screens on windows or doors resulting in moths & flies in the house. Finally, the tiny ants came visiting the kitchen on day 3.
