It was peaceful quiet and relaxing.

I liked that there was enough beds for all of us. I liked that they offered travel size shampoo and conditioner etc. I love the view of the lake!

The first level of the house was so cold for the kids I tried turning on the heater but wouldn't get warm but they did have extra blankets and comforters.

Stunning location on Mercer lake!

Location is everything with this property! The lake and the dock is fabulous! The beds were comfortable, the deck and the view is outstanding! We had so much fun here and would love to come back for another visit.

Some updates and upgrades would go a long way. Some clear parking signs, a house number, updated listing of what color the house is. The house was dusty, simple things like shower curtains and blinds were definitely questionable. Interior could use a lot of updating. I was really bummed that there was no indoor way to get to the downstairs. We have little kids, so they had to sleep on the couches instead of the beds. We ultimately didn't even use the downstairs. The listing also shows bunk beds which were no longer there. Also the front right burner on the stove only functions at the hottest setting.

Had issue getting into downstairs. Wasnt given combo. Took them over hr to get correct one to me. The digital lock on main floor worked 50/50. Door handle on bathroom nearly fel off in hand.over 5 days they couldnt fix so I did. Found what looked like poop on a pillowcase. Shower surround coming away feom wall main floor. After all of this well documented and made aware of ASAP. No discount or comoensation. Weird neighbor that stands outside and watches you come and go all the time. If it was women or young girls it would be creepy.

much needed vacation in a great location. would definitely stay here again.

the location of the property was great. we enjoyed being right on the lake to enjoy the activities that had to offer and we weren’t too far from town and we’re able to experience some of what Florence had to offer. loved how quiet it was. and absolutely loved the view.

the bbq and dryer didn’t work. we planned meals around the bbq, but was able to improvise and everything worked out. I threw a load of towels in the wash machine but didn’t realize the dryer didn’t work, hung the towels along the railing. just took longer to dry.

Bad

The only nice thing was the wake and the police having a dog

The guy next door was creepy and came over at 8:30 in the morning just to tell us are bumpers were over the line and the place felt really dirty the beds were uncomfortable but it was hard to sleep anyways cuz we felt uncomfortable about the next door neighbor the yard was not up capped and there were scrap wood laying all over and then one of us got scratch from a spring sticking 6in out from the side of the couch and couple of us woke up in the morning feeling like we had bites all over from the beds

Cute and rustic

This place was in a perfectly quiet location right on the lake. There were no TVs to distract people from spending time together. It’s not far from The Hobbit Trail and the light house. You can view the lake from the deck or inside the house. To get to the large “bedroom” you have to go outside and down the stairs. Was perfect for our group as the night owls slept downstairs and the early birds slept upstairs.

The parking area is tight and was muddy (we stayed in February). Turning around to get out was a challenge with a large truck. It was definitely an Austin Powers moment.

Beautiful location, big house.

Mice poop everywhere. 4 towels for 4 people for 5 days. No way to access downstairs from inside house, you have to go outside, for kids this is unsafe. Breakers kept blowing and refrigerator turned off. Wi-Fi did not work.

The views, location.

We unfortunately had the power shut off.. we got there late at night, garbage all over the walk way. And when we left the next day to go to town for food we spend $150 on dinner and came back and someone Had came to the house and picked up the garbage and the power shut off.. we sat with 5 babies under the age of 5 for 6 hours with no power driving back and forth to town to ask what we should do because our children were getting cold, dinner was getting bad, and it was dark, but overall in the end we had an awesome stay for the time we were there and would like to come back another time and be able to enjoy it for a longer period of time.
