Welcoming 5-bedroom house up Coos River

This is a really beautiful house, with wonderful views out every window across farmland and the river. There is a great amount of well-thought out space throughout the house for people to spread out; my family particularly enjoyed sitting in the parlor for evening light and the piano or boardgames, while at the same time, people could be through to the other side of the house, in the living room or bar space or on the great deck, watching the cows. There were plenty of deck chairs, towels, etc., and the kitchen was practical and well-equipped (I am a cook, and was very pleased). The garden and yard were well-maintained during our long stay. We were the first guests to stay at this listing, and while there were a few small kinks to work out for future visitors, our host was incredibly responsive and i am sure the minor things we brought to her attention will be addressed! It is a quick, 12 min drive into downtown coos bay. In all, a wonderful base for exploring the area.
