It was nice to get away for vacation, but the cat hair and ants really hurt the stay for us

I liked that i was right beside the ocean and shops. It had a washer and dryer which was very helpful. good hot water for showers, the beds were comfortable. Well stocked kitchen! Loved that.

It was very very dirty. Piles of cat hair all over the floor. My family and I are super allergic to cats so we had allergies hit us pretty bad.I left a sandwich on the counter for like a minute and it was covered with ants. I arrived an hour late just so they could take care of the ant issue before hand. Also, the handrails which are supporting something like 70 steps up were super sketchy and wobbly.

Bed could be more comfortable. I think the water heater needs replaced. Water turned ice cold after 5 min shower.

Pack light!

Location and home was perfect for a small family.

Ants everywhere (resulting in our need to throw out much of the food we brought with us) and mold in the washer. And the only way to access the house was by 50 steps, so pack light.

Excellent location, great view, quaint cottage feel, reasonably priced, nice to have plenty of towels and all the kitchen and laundry appliances needed.

Just a few suggestions: 1) since it is a pet friendly property accidents will happen and the print upholstered chair has a strong enough urine smell that it was not used (possibly a replacement?) 2) maybe some sort of a screen in the bathroom sink to prevent plumbing problems (like toothpaste or cosmetic lids being dropped down it) (it was retrieved, and the plumbing was easy enough to get apart without any tools but the trap was so clean that it caused me to speculate that it was not the first time) 3) housekeeping should maybe take a look under the sofa

Great location, awesome view!

The location, everything was within walking distance for shopping, eating, the beach, eating etc. Great views of the beach and ocean. Cottage was clean, plenty of supplies in the kitchen. All the major sights you'd want to see, just minutes away by vehicle....the location on Nye Beach made going anywhere convenient.

The lights on the walk way need to be fixed. It was dangerous to navigate after dark. We didn't need the TV, but checked just the same for weather etc..most off the channels weren't accessible accountcwasnt up to date..but not a big deal...who goes to the beach to watch TV?

Very good

Location is great, very close to the beach as well as lots of great restaurants and cafes. Beautiful views of the beach and ocean. House is well equipped, and comfortable. Awesome parking spot.

Beds are FIRM. While the location is very close to the beach with great views, this comes at a price. Newport clearly has a homeless problem, and they congregate around this property. We had to chase one individual off the property, who we later found out was camped out in a vacant property behind the house, who we had to call the police on after shouting and roaming around the property all night. We were uncomfortable even staying out in the nice patio because of this. There is a massive parking lot right next to the property that is always lighted, and none of the windows in the house have blackout curtains. Very bright inside the home all night. As well, as there is no cooling inside the home, the windows need to be open during the warm months. On weekends, this means you hear every car and person who goes by.

Beautiful views, a lot of local attractions, great beach with easy access to everything.

The house was perched up high on the cliff. Gave an excellent panoramic view of the coast & beach. The home has an older beach style home feel, maybe even more cabin feeling. The windows form the front room provide an amazing view of not only the coast line & beach, but of Nye Beach itself. One of my most favorites is the ability to go no car. You can walk to any of local businesses for dining, shopping & entertainment. Nye Beach has quickly become a family favorite destination over other nice, but more hectic locations. The ability to not be car dependent is a 10/10 on its own.

Carrying the luggage up the stairs. Notice I stopped with up the stairs. In the rain also dampens the fun (see what I did there?) But if that is the worse complaint I have, ~10 minutes of carrying my stuff up to the home?
