Los colchones de la habitación principal son muy viejos y se hunden. El horno de la cocina estaba despegado y por lo visto el dueño no sabia. Quiso imputarme esa falla.

Very pleasant apartment at the Alexander Hotel with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean and nicely decorated. Located on the 8th floor with beautiful view of the ocean and of the bay. WiFi was free and the kitchen has everything you need. Talked to the owner few times and he was very friendly.

There are only two elevators in the hotel and sometimes you need to wait a lot until you catch one that you can get in.

Great location, great views and good sized property for a family of 4. Host was responsive and friendly enough. Staff in the building which is run as a hotel were also pleasant and helpful. However, when you book privately and not through the hotel itself, then you are restricted in terms of the facilities that they offer, which was a bit disappointing. There was an on-site restaurant, a Tikki bar around the pool, a convenience store and a coffee shop. These are all valuable but ridiculously expensive. I paid $11 for a 2 pint carton of milk and a cocktail around the pool was $22.

The apartment is very tired, it needs a good refurbishment. The place doesn’t feel as clean as it might because the furnishings are so old and tired. The bathrooms are marked from years of use which adds to the feel or not being so clean. There kitchen is in need of improvement - insufficient utensils for example. The Building is also tired and not well maintained - it could be beautiful and they are currently refurbishing the communal areas. But the pool area which appears to be recently refurbished is already starting to look tired because the staff just don’t seem to care enough to look after it properly. The deck chairs are really poor condition and the towels that you are given around the pool are so old that they are stained. Also little things like not being allowed more than one howl around the pool just brings disappointment and frustration to the whole experience.
