Incredibly unique hotel with great history (built in 1790 by President John Adams cousin). Fascinating collection of eclectic bits of Americana, statuary, ornately carved furniture, taxidermy and other curiosities jumbled in a homey atmosphere. The father and daughter who own and operate the inn are super friendly, engaging and helpful.
Although the overall impression is charming, be aware that the hotel is a very old structure that shows its age. That being said, the water and facilities work fine.

Can’t beat the location. Right off Rte 28 in the heart of The Catskills. Lots of trails close by. The owner was attentive and looked after every guest. Lots of locals pop into the bar for a lively feel.
Dated so it feels like stepping back in time. After the initial reaction, it was kind of cool to look at all the antiques and collectibles. Could use a little love & attention but probably still bouncing back after covid.
