The lobby and bar area, however the lightning could be much much better
Shower in room was below any standard and the all in all is absolute not a 5 or 4 star hotel

Great location in Adams Morgan - only hotel in this area. Rooms are spacious and have interesting views and decor. Food is good at restaurant and coffee bar downstairs. Close to lots of shops and restaurants and bus lines (Metro is a longer walk)
Rooms are a bit run down - hotel is due for a major refresh. Some staff are great and others seem disinterested.

The Line is a pleasant place to stay and No Goodbyes is a pleasant restaurant. Coffee shop staff and coffee are decent also. Room was fine, hallways a bit worn.
The amenities fee $27/day that is added whether you use amenities (including wifi) at all. We used none and were still billed. This did not show up on our confirmation when we reserved. I don't know if this is a Line or a Bookings problem but it was not factored into our choice because it was invisible until we checked out.
