Amazing!

Very quaint!

The below bungalow which was accessible by going down carpeted stairs located within the room, where there was a downstairs door which was locked by a deadbolt, almost like you could possibly rent out the downstairs bungalow and have it connecting like a hotel room type situation, was strange to me. Even though it was locked, as it would be an adjoining unit, it made me very uneasy. Especially as it was only myself and my daughter staying there. I hope I am creating the visual for everyone.

I had the Bungalow. It doest have a dresser to put your clothing away. There was a dirty glass left on counter by the fireplace. I used my wipes to sanitized and the work desk and all counters were dirty( dust). There should b instructions on how to use the spa Tub. That was a nightmare figuring that out. When asked front desk what to do in area r what restaurant they recommend. The answer I'm not sure. It looks like you would be able to give a suggestion. They should also let u know before booking, that the gym is closed and the waterfalls will run until 7 pm then turn off. I had to complain that the waterfalls on picture were not operating and I was told they are on a timer, but they should b on then because it's within the time-frame. I received I don't know why they are not on.

The Bungalow was spacious, had a mini fridge. Not sure where to get ice but the fridge helped to keep cold. Would like better lighting leading up to stairs. And didn't care for all the wild black squirrel. Should have been told that.

A charming location for an ideal getaway in Mayberry-like Saratoga.

Located in scenic Saratoga, CA, nestled against the foothills, the lodge is tucked away on gorgeously landscaped grounds off the charming main street of Saratoga Avenue. Continental breakfast included delicious fresh fruit and a choice of pastries, oatmeal, juices, teas/coffee, and yogurt. The room was well equipped.

The Keurig coffee pot was temperamental.

Located in the main strip in Saratoga near restaurants and shops.

The shower had a mildew smell. There were no pens and paper in the room. For the price we paid for the room, water was not even offered. Breakfast was offered but by the time we got to breakfast, there was very little left. The guests above us had heavy footsteps and walking around all night and kept us awake.

SO pleasant and delightful. The whole city of Saratoga is calm and peaceful.

Breakfast was very pleasant. Plenty of options. (Could use a gluten free bread or roll option). Comfortable seating and setting.

Maybe put an eye-catching ribbon attached to the inside of the refrigerator door that the occupant could drape outside the fridge, (but wouldn't effect cooling efficiency) to remind that guest that something is in the fridge. We didn't look there on our departure and we hope someone enjoyed a couple of granola bars and cheese sticks. :)

We felt relaxed, safe, and special during our stay.

Perfect location, close to restaurants, transportation, sites. Beautiful setting tucked into the trees and lush foliage. Charming hotel in a charming town. Desk staff were a breath of fresh air with their friendly smiles and courteous service. This is the ONLY place we will stay when visiting Saratoga again!! Thank you.

The breakfast was fine, the location was excellent, and the friendly, helpful staff was exceptional. I wanted ice at 10:00 PM and have a hard time negotiating stairs, (next time I’ll book a ground floor room) and the very nice gentleman at the front desk brought it right up and wouldn’t accept a tip.

Not to be picky, but perhaps the water pressure in the shower could be stronger.

Breakfast options were good. Could use a gluten free option if possible, even if just bread for toast.

Did not like the sink location in the rooms. Brushing teeth, hair, and other personal care processes on same counter as food and coffee prep is not hygienic. The large room did not have this set up and was nice.

Beautiful Grounds, Perfect Location

The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and you can't beat the location. You can easily stroll along the streets of Saratoga or walk through Hakone Gardens, which are lovely as well. Our room was big and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the bidet was awesome! :) You can tell the hotel was built to last with quality finishes, but it could use a refresh. Regardless, if we stay in Saratoga again, we would choose this hotel.

The lack of outdoor lighting should be addressed. There are brick steps heading up to the villas, which are very dark; due to this, my husband tripped and almost lost his toenail. One of our neighbors nearly fell as well. On our patio, one light was burned out, which added to the issue. We told the manager as we were there for 4 nights, but it was never replaced. As I mentioned, the hotel was built well, but the place needs a refresh as the room has some deferred maintenance (carpets are stained, etc.)

Saratoga Oaks Lodge is in a great location. A short walk to cafes and local interesting boutique stores. They served a nice assortment of breakfast foods for dining in their beautiful flower and humming bird filled court yard.

For breakfast, I ate a sweet tangerine and had some nice hot coffee. I wasn't planning on eating there. A friend said the bagels were very good. They had a nice assortment of breakfast breads, juice, tea ect . But what I did adore were all the pretty flowers and the landscaping.. the birds were a joy to watch. Including the scurry of tree squirrels, they were cute. Please keep the feeders out. That was so entertaining to watch. Loved having the beautiful oaks and pathways to explore. Wonderful area. The staff is very attentive. They found my phone cord, and gave me water when i was just looking for a water outlet(i was already checked out) We loved our stay.
