First time stay

Wonderful location! Bartaco right across the street absolutely fabulous!! SushiMas was also across the street absolutely amazing! Staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean.

Beds were too soft. Our air conditioner unit made a wind tunnel whistling sound when it was running!! (Room 827) Drove me absolutely crazy!! If I wouldn't have had such an early flight I would have definitely had them move me!!

Constantly unfriendly staff. Stay away

Location. Many restaurants and malls nearby.

The personnel at the reception is always unfriendly. At times rude. And every single time you stay here something annoying happened. This time, they charged my card a different value from what I had committed to pay for at breakfast. Stay away. Literally..fraudulent behaviour.

Standar things are clean and nice.but for this money you would expect a bathroom in the room, better noise cancelling in

Pool and gym area are nice and free coffee in lobby.

No real bathroom in the rooms. Basically no service by the pool. Breakfast not worth the money. Bad isolation so you hear everything in the hallway.

Disapointing

Housekeeping terrible, in 2 day they didn't clean the room. The breakfast very poor, during 2 days there was not orange juice.

This was the second time I stayed there but the quality has gone down. I will not stay again.

What bothered me the most is that the overnight staff kept being outside smoking weed with her friends.

The overnight staff making the hotel a hangout spot and not really wanting to answer basic questions so that she could go bac outside to smoke weed with her friends

Some of the reservation staff was very pleasant and helpful, would stay again the room size was very comfortable and bed

Location not far from aventura mall but still a drive away, cute restaurant around the hotel, very clean.

The coffee, room coffee machine needs to go a waste of time, coffee was available downstairs which was better but a inconvenience to go every morning

Overall, a good experience. Soft beds I do not traditionally careful, however, they were extremely comfortable.

Location was great if you need to be by the hospital, it was clean. Some restaurants within walking distance.

We were there because a family member was in the hospital across the street and this location was perfect to be able to just walk there or back if we needed a break. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, room could have been larger for that price.

Not too crazy about the bathroom ( or lack of) configuration in the room.

Underwhelming.

The location is great for work.

Staff not very friendly. Room was a bit dirty and was lacking things like a tray for the soap. TV remote was not checked prior to my stay and was dead. They replaced the batteries but the sleep timer button was broken. Also there were dead flowers in the lobby for the 3 days I was there. Just doesn’t fell like there is leadership who is paying attention to the details

Great Location, but in need of some updates for the price.

Housekeeping standards need to be upgraded. I had to change rooms since first room I was put in had hair in the shower, crumbs throughout and fingerprints on the mirrors etc. As a Marriott member I am disappointed that the person at the front desk moved me to another room only 2 doors down which was only slightly better. Not up to Marriott standards.

Clean fresh room

The staff were not helpful at all and I think they were quite rude. I I had surgery on both of my feet so I couldn’t even walk, there was no kettle or access to hot water in my room as I needed to eat to take my medication as I had noodles in my room. I couldn’t order food because I couldn’t walk downstairs to get it. I asked reception kindly for some hot water and the refused numerous times, they said I had to come and get it myself. I had an zimmer frame to help me up stairs so I physically couldn’t get it. They then called me back to say yes they will give me a cup but just this once as it’s not their duty to do so. I was in shock… considering the circumstances this is all they could do to help. Just that once. Also when I was walking through reception on my way back from surgery, it took my like 10 mins to walk to my room and not 1 member of staff even offered to help or hold a bag for me or anything they just stood there and watched me struggle. Unbelievable customer service!

Amazing week spent at a very cool area of Miami, perfect stay for daytrips around Miami

We spent a week here and were completely satisfied with everything. Loved the heated pool with the nice sunbeds. Pool bar is available until 5 pm. Lemonade is for free at the pool. The location is great, near to Aventura Mall (by car of course) , great restaurants nearby. Free purified bottled water in room and at the reception. Our room had a view to a tiny little cute pond, 6th floor, totally quiet, soundproof window, AC works well, no noise, warm water for bathing with normal pressure. Wifi working well. Bed comfortable, room is clean. Free starbucks coffee at the bar downstairs in the mornings. I guess Cleaning everyday, but we put privacy sign on for days and noone entering, respecting privacy sign.

The doors are so heavy so closing is pretty loud. But apart of that there is no other noise. Window cannot be opened but it was not an issue, always enough air in the room. There is nothing to be complained actually. Loved the 7 days spending here. We have not got breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that.

Friendly staff. Bed was ok.

Strange and uncomfortable bathroom arrangement. Makes no sense to step out of the shower straight into the room nowhere to hang the towel. Square toilet. My room was next to the elevator and it was noisy at times but otherwise quiet. Breakfast is not included.

Just okay. The rooms felt pretty bare and were kind of dirty. I made sure to wear socks in the room.

The location was great. My checkin agent was great and very friendly.

The lights in my first room were flickering and couldn’t be fixed so I had to change my room. My second room was very hot, but I didn’t feel like moving again since it was already late. My person who checked me out in the morning was really rude.

Average hotel not with Marriott Standards.

The hotel is very well located, lobby is nice. Nice employees such as Alberta, Heaven and the Rumanian that serves breakfast (forgot her name).

Rooms have no closet, only for hanging, unbelieable! Closet is one of the basics for any hotel as “usually” travelers carry clothing. Rooms have coffee maker but no electric plug where its laid so need to take it to the bathroom to use it. Not higienic at all. Cleaning of room is very poor. Found a cockroach. Soap and shampoo not refilled when empty, sometimes they replenished coffee, water, sugar, sometime no, like no consistency. Once we asked they brought but customers shouldn’t be asking for things all the time.
