Unique and fun environment on the boat. Food is very good at the on site restaurant .

Be Prepared for Loud Seals

Great location!

Seals were barking for over 6 hours. I had to check out at 11pm, since they were too loud and my room faced the river. This was a for my 50th birthday and a much needed getaway. I called the hotel manager twice to ask for a reduced rate but have not received a return phone call. Very poor customer service. I will not stay here again.

A potentially great location that needs to work on their issues before we can recommend them.

The venue (a paddle wheeler river boat from the early 1900's) was great. The Delta King restaurant, food and service were wonderful.

There was WAY TOO MUCH noise on and around the our room (and the boat in general). People were partying and yelling outside our door, above us, below us and on the river, with several continuing until 3am. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were lumpy.

This is my new favorite place to stay in Sacramento. Great staff, charming.

The Delta King is wonderful! We were in town to see a concert at Golden 1 which was a very safe walk from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. A little small, but the entire place was just charming. The staff was amazing and helpful. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Excellent food.

There was not one thing I didn't like. It was all perfect.

A great holiday in Sacramento

This is the second time we have stayed at the Delta King Hotel. The location is great and it’s easy to walk to all the main attractions. The boat has a lovely holiday vibe.

I am aware that the rooms can’t have a fridge due to the extra use of power. However, perhaps a better system or perhaps a central fridge that can be accessed by guests to access milk etc.

Great location! Walk to everything! Well lit at night in a very safe environment! Staff ( Karen...Apple..Angel) will ensure you have a great stay! Love the full bar upstairs with food and sitting outside on the deck watching the boats go by. SO much nicer than going to midtown or near Golden One area!

It is a unique experience staying on a real riverboat floating on the Sacramento River. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The restaurant had a great breakfast with wonderful views.

We were only going to be there late afternoon to mid morning. We decided to have our meals on the boat to enjoy the ambiance and views of the river. After checking in we went out to find a place to charge our electric car and did a short walking tour of downtown Sacramento. We had read the information in our room saying when the restaurant and bar closed. We hustled to get back about an hour before the bar was to close to enjoy our two complimentary drinks, some bar food and, likely, a few more drinks. We actually got back about 40 minutes before the posted closing time but that still would have been enough. But when we went up to the bar the doors were locked and there was someone in there cleaning up. We went to the front desk to ask about it and she said it had been slow so they closed early. We bought a soft drink, a beer and some chips from the sundries behind the front desk and that was it. Very disappointing and $23 for $10 worth of food. I felt, given the circumstances, they should have comped us for the snacks.

It is so beautiful. The valet was nice. I love that there are snacks sold in the lobby. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Convenient to have a restaurant on board. You can hear sea lions and see them laying out close by. It’s close to so many things. Walking distance to the stadiums. The room was clean and comfortable.

You have to walk on a wooden plank road to get to the hotel. The air conditioning was on too high. At night it was really cold.

I had a wonderful time waking up and being around hearing seals near the ship, and having a water view is the best way for me, the Delta king has a whole lot of history in itself, if you like old historic rooms then you'll appreciate it I had wonderful time I would definitely do it again and I highly recommend it.

Standard rooms are small. Probably not for you if you're much of 6 ft. tall. If you need just a bed and a shower you can squeeze into, Delta Kink is a good option.

Worst experience of my life. I reserved this room months ago, smallest of rooms for the price, way too expensive, plus the seals kept me up all night. No sleep in 2 days. Not for tall people either. The boat is too small.. 0 out of 10. Room was the smallest.
