Turn left out the door and the Duomo is a very easy walk. Turn right and just down the quiet street are great restaurants. Across the street is an old convent now a school with a hidden-away restaurant which is quite good. Really, 5 stars do not do the apartment justice and most certainly are not enough for the service and hospitality of hostess Laura.

The location is amazing for both the views and for being centrally located to many different things to do in Florence. Our hosts were very fast to respond with anything we nedded and provided us with a list of restaurants recommendations and ideas of places to see.

Everything was spotless. The Wi-Fi was easy to get to. But most importantly the host were great! Laura and Gabriele helped in telling where the market was, where some really good places to eat and just over all wonderful host.

If you are looking for a rental in Florence, Italy, look no further. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath rental just down the street from Santa Maria del Fiore on Via del Orioulo is a perfect choice. The owners are readily available and extremely friendly. Everything is within walking distance. There is a weekly linen and cleaning service provided by the owners. I stayed for 2 months and only wish I could have stayed longer.
