I’d stay here again.

We were staying overnight prior to a cruise and it was close to the port terminal. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Minor detail but the ice trays were broken and a thick sheet of ice in the freezer bottom. Also we didn’t have a car and there’s no restaurants close by.

The location is nice.

The bed was super comfortable! The location was fun right on a canal. However,There are no services near by so if you do not have a car you would need to walk about 15 minutes to get to the main Blvd. of Las Olas which has lots of restaurants to chose from!

We were only there for 1 night and it was a very cold snap so we were not able to use the pool or even hang outside. Which was too bad.

Rooms were comfortable and nice.

Would have had better score but was told we could check in at 11 because of scheduling When we arrived were told room was not ready at noon.Was told they would call when ready. Never received call. Went back after 3 and room info was tacked to billboard outside of closed office.

Plan on taking cabs.

Person checking us in seemed confused, didn't ask any one in our group their names. We ended up in rooms all over the place. Our room stunk every time we turned on the water. Impossible to shower when the water smelled like sewage.

Management Water smelled like sewage Dirty sock in walkway by the pool, and they never bothered to pick it up.

I read about bikes. Turns out the property is " bike friendly",as in you can have a bike there. There is no bike rental or complimentary bike so we drove everywhere. I had an injury and there are no elevators, but one of the woman from the office helped carry my belongings up the stairs which I appreciate- thank you.

The one thing about the property was that there was a strong cleaning smell that wasn't pleasant. Perhaps they need to use something else. also the woman at the front desk was OK but not very friendly but maybe she was having a bad day.

I didn’t like the property

The pool was filthy, too filthy to use, and cold. The room was musty and i was unable to turn off the ceiling fan. I called and asked how but no one could help me. I went to the office and asked for some cream and sugar for the coffee as there is a coffee maker in the room. I was told they only provide coffee, no sugar, no créamer. There were no cups in the bathroom to brush your treeth with. There is nothing close to walk to if you don’t have a car. Closest 7-11 about a mile away. Not everyone coming to FL has a car so saying location is excellent is misleading.

We only stayed one night before our cruise, and wish we could have.been there longer

The Santa Fe suite is very large and comfortable. It has all the amenities you could ask for. Lynda in the office was a huge help to us, navigating a snafu with our reservation.

As an older woman the shower inside the spa tub was a challenge. Next time I stay I will use the walk in shower in the other bathroom.

Stay over before the Cruise

The French Country room we stayed in, was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room and sofa was comfortable.

We didnt like the king bed. It was too too hard. Even though they had a topper, it still was not enough. They need an eggshell as well. I slept on the sofa. We believe the worse part, was when a traveler arrived wee hours of the morning, and dragged their luggage step by step up the stairs to retrieve their envelope, and dragged all their luggage back down the stairs, step by step. So disrespectful for others.Should have left all their luggage downstairs, then go retrieve your envelope. PS not the fault of the Owners.

quick one day stay is fine , but for longer than that I do not recommend.

After-hours check-in was a little weird. they left an envelope on their office door with our room number and the room open. The room A/C was ok. The room did not get as cold as I would like. I would not stay here long-term, but for a one-day stay that I did before a cruise, it is fine.

There was hair in my tub and sink, and the room had an odor when I arrived. The room needs curtains; it has blinds, but with hallway and street lights, the room is still very bright.

This hotel has a soul

We really loved everything; we felt better than at home. The apartment is very neat and well-maintained, clean and very cozy. Interior looks better than in the photos. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook a full meal. If you don't have a car, you'll most likely need a taxi and grocery delivery, all at reasonable prices. Public transport also is not a problem. There are repellents and sunscreens on the shared terrace. We saw cute iguanas in the garden, and the chirping of birds is constantly heard. The pool is nice. Pillows and mattresses are very comfortable. The staff is beyond praise, very considerate and kind people. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe place. I’m missing so much of this place))

Amazing stay in a hidden gem

Our third time staying at this amazing hidden gem near Las Olas. Perfect location for the beach, for the cruise port or the strip. A quiet haven with views of the canal where we sit on our balcony drinking our tea every morning. They have a nice little pool and a lovely outdoor kitchen where you can use a nice BBQ. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble you even get to use the washer drier for a small donation of a dollar. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment that have a huge bed, tv with all the channels and a kitchen with everything you need. They have bikes you can borrow. We had a peak in the 2 bedroom apartments as we want to bring our daughter and partner next time and they looked amazing definitely will book one next time.

So flexible about check in and out times. Loved the pool. Villa was clean and comfortable. Loved the mini kitchen allowing us to eat a little at the villa. Great proximity to waterways.

No maid service daily, only changed the towels on weekdays. I thought at the price they charge they should provide service. Also there is no solid bathroom door to provide privacy. The door is slatted. Also no fan in bathroom. Not a good place for honeymooners. One last thing! The Wi-Fi stinks. Television is non functional because the streaming internet is so bad. There was an Infinity cable box but no way to choose it on the tv.

Awesome one night spent👌

The trip was wonderful, we had a blast 😀. The host was excellent 👌 love the Villa and the bed was very big and comfortable 👍, thank you very a wonderful stay at Venezia Villa. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

The Floridian at the Villa Venezia is completely worth it!

The Floridian unit #4 is so adorable, comfortable & spacious. Full kitchen, large living/dining combo & peaceful view of canal with boats, the pool & the inviting courtyard. Large screened in porch to relax on too. Will definitely book this unit again.

My only complaint is the slow Wi-Fi. Had to use my mobile hotspot for some computer work & hard to get anything to stay loaded on bedroom Firestick TV. The living room TV worked fine.

Amazing!!

Just perfect. Perfect location, free parking, amazing and friendly staff. Very quiet marine life. In a wealthy neighborhood. 10 out of 10. All the nice restaurants, supermarkets, shopping centers are within 10-15 minutes drive. The beach is only 8 minutes drive.

Fun days at Fort Lauderdale.

The property is located in a beautiful area , and minutes away from the beach and downtown area. The place itself is clean and nicely decorated. The room was spacious, comfortable and pretty looking. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. The room was serviced every day. We had a little area outside the room where we had our coffee and enjoyed the morning sun. We also used the pool which, was clean and very enjoyable. Parking is available. Staff is friendly and eager to please. I certainly do recommend it and plan to return when in FLL.

What an amazing place, truly a rare gem. Beautiful property, fantastic location. The room was looking even better than on the photos, spotless cleaning and interior. The office staff were friendly, kind and helpful.

The only thing was the mosquitoes around the pool and boatyard at sunset, it’s not the hotel’s fault really.
