Forsyth Park Inn

This was the most wonderful hotel I ever ever stayed at. It was absolutely beautiful. The hospitality was top notch. The included breakfast was delicious. The location was right by the park and fountain. They gave water and tea everyday all the time and a delicious home made dessert was given every evening. They made our get away to Savanah a dream.

It was absolutely perfect.

The meals were good. I didn't care for the cookies, but the coffee cake was amazing! The breakfast was good. Nothing out of this world, but good. We were warmly greeted and checked in, given lots of suggestions for our evening meal and things to do during our short stay. The room was excellent. Liked the idea of a jacuzzi in the room, but really, my husband is 6'2" and I am 5'1". Nice shower, though. I wish they had a safety bar by the tub, as it is a little high. We are seniors in our early 70s. Enjoyed the privacy and all of the ammenities. The price is not outrageous. Staff made us feel right at home!

The hotel is aesthetically very beautiful, and the location is truly idyllic. Breakfast was good, though having a wider choice between sweet and savory options would have been appreciated.

Unfortunately, the functional aspects did not match the price at all. Our room was in the basement with no possibility to open the window, and the bathroom had no window either, making it very humid. We could hear every step from the room above us. The toilet tank took at least 10 minutes to refill after flushing, which was very inconvenient. The bed was so soft that I sank into it and woke up with significant back pain. Paying over $200 for this level of comfort feels unreasonable.
