Hope Inn Redding

Awesome reception and tour of accommodations upon arrival. Clean and comfortable. Quiet, wooded, remote-feel location with inside and outside spaces for relaxing.

The house and the grounds were beautiful. If we had stayed longer it would have been a great place to sit in the garden and read and just relax. It was also very quiet.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

It was a beautiful home and grounds. Very peaceful. The owner went above and beyond to help me find treatment for an eye issue I was having. The room was beautiful and they had everything you needed for a comfortable, peaceful stay

This Inn is in a very tranquil setting at the end of a neighborhood, off the beaten path. It is a beautiful building and the interior is very much a showcase. Our room was very large, and the ensuite bathroom was beautiful. If you want breakfast, you can prepare it in the massive kitchen, but so may the other five guestroom guests. Coffee and tea are available in the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the cleanliness was good.

There was no TV to catch the news or watch a movie at the end of the day – not in the room, and not in any of the common areas in the Inn. They do have Wi-fi available, so it makes no sense they would not provide tv’s. The couch in our room sunk quite a bit when we sat down on it. There was a very loud plug in air conditioner/heater for the room, because the central air and heat were hard to regulate between rooms. The host was pleasant, but not warm and welcoming like you would expect in a small Inn. There are no welcoming cookies, beverage, or even a welcome sign.
