overall stuff was very friendly, especially in bar/lounge area. great location, you can walk pretty much anywhere from there. rooftop also has great view, but unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy it
booked room with vista king room, during check-in receptionist said that they don't have it available and they can only give that room next day. next day they told me same story that room not available and should be ready for me next day. so in the the end I paid ~$1300 for expensive room and half of the stay had room which was twice cheaper. and as "compensation" got $60 bar credit... sounds like a poor "compensation"

Staff tried to up-sell us at the registration which went slowly. The room was poorly designed in so many ways for two guests. Glassware in the room was not clean and never cleaned despite several requests. Some towels had shredded edges. I was virbaly and harshly admonished on the roof for using a camera (which I always carry) to take a photo of the view inspire of there being NO signage or any other indication not to take photos except with a smartphone.

We LOVED the room and the view!!! The view was amazing from each window and the ambiance was great!
One of the staff at the desk was EXTREMELY rude! I booked through Booking. com and apparently the reservation didn't go all the way through. Instead of the staff trying to accommodate me, he went on to tell me that their reservation number didn't start with a 5, that it started with a 3. He proceeded to ask if they sent a confirmation to my email and when I began to tell him my email address, he abruptly cut me off stating, "I don't need your email, I was asking if they sent it to your email "! His tone was very unpleasant and as nice as the hotel is and for the prices their charging, they shouldn't have staff working there with such horrible ATTITUDES!! My wife left an item in the room and when she called to speak with the Lost and Found Department and housekeeping, she was on hold for almost an hour while being transferred from department to department and she was also given the run around trying to speak w/a supervisor. The staff should be better trained in terms of professionalism!!! This was not a good look for such a prestigious hotel.

We struggled with the elevator system. Often the screens were not taking the floor number and it was frustrating. I didn't enjoy the spa visit. I found service and atmosphere lacking and not what I expected for this hotel and price. I would not book this service again.

We tried to enjoy the roof top bar at LondonHouse Chicago on a Sunday evening and there was no seating for us - all seats were taken - and because my husband had a leg injury, we had to leave because he couldn’t sit down anywhere. Very sad we did not get to experience the view up there because that was a big reason we chose that hotel. But, everything else was great.

I loved everything about this place and would 100% stay here again. The location, the rooms, the lobby, everything. Food options in and around although not included were great, and the hotel is right in the middle of everything. Only stayed a night but would love to go for a longer stay if im in Chicago again.

The rooms are classic with luxury linens. We’re always impressed with the team that runs the hotel- everyone is joyful amd goes above and beyond to help. The rooftop bar is iconic!

loved the size of the room very beautiful with great views, however, would like a room where the bathroom door is not next to the bed, does not provide enough privacy in the bathroom, not very romantic that way, the room was a excellent size. The cleaners did a poor job of cleaning, we did not have our room cleaned the first day to save the staff and we did our best, on the third day we had it cleaned, room did not look as fresh as it could or spell fresh, found areas had not been cleaned off and not vacuumed carpet.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to many of Chicago’s attractions.
The size of the room and bathroom was great - we weren’t tripping over each other’s bags.

The location is prime with views and access to the riverwalk.
They say they give their guests preference for seating at the rooftops but at the same time you cant make a reservation and at the same time there are tables that say reserved. Very confusing.

The rooftop bar was too small not enough seating. I had to stand a drink. My room wasn't ready when I arrived and had a dirty glasses in the room.

I liked the location. It was close to work
I wanted to be checked in early, my room wasn’t available which was fine. I paid the Upgrade fee and checked in at 2pm. I didn’t like that my room wasn’t available which facing the Trump towers. My Girlfriend and I asked to be switched or wanted my money back, but was told by the front desk that wasn’t an option. So we spent an uncomfortable even with our blinds closed unable to enjoy our even and spent over $400 for one night in a room we couldn’t even enjoy.

This Hotel is by far one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed at. Great views, exceptional staff, hospitality very good and location to everything was awesome. If you don't book this Hilton hotel directly through the hotel's webpage you can not check in online. So do not expect to get your favourite room. You can not even get 1 bottle of free water if you don`t book your room directly and give your Hilton member number. If you are a member but you booked your room through booking.com, your memebership means nothing.
If you don`t book directly and you are not a member you don't get some of the benefits. It felt like second class.

The spa was lovely -- though you have to prepay, and watch out they add a 20% service charge. They did tell me they had done it and were very gracious about removing it. I then paid the treaters (massage, facial etc.,) directly.
The breakfast was awful. You need a coupon (I had prepaid). And the desk may forget to give it. They have two coupons one for $18 and one for $20. Then it's a third party -- a lovely little restaurant on the ground floor. Great menu. They insisted I sit right next to other people (ie, they were very conscious of mot losing settings and were not going to "waste" a table on me, so I got the bench + a teensy table) The staff was miserable; coffee gets poured before you see the price (with tax $5), and the coupon buys NOTHING. Unless you want to add $$. But I prepaid for breakfast! The waiter refused to help me figure out the "real" price of items (with taxes) because I did not want to pay extra. He kept on trying to push the fruit cup.... Then I had to beg for refills, although everyone around me was getting refills (and for $5, the coffee was not worth it.) I ended up with eggs and toast, which were not what I wanted (two side dishes totaling $12), and they still got a deal because I couldn't maximize my remaining $15 (the balance to use after coffee). When I said something at checkout, the reception was not unaware of the issue. The
