My stay was very pleasant and restful.

The motel is right on the edge of town yet it feels like you’re off the grid even though the center of town is just a few minutes away. The rooms are clean, cozy, and large enough that you don’t feel like the walls are closing in on you. The gentleman who runs the place is really nice and seems like genuinely good person. My son and I intended to only stay one night but decided to stay a second. I would definitely recommend this motel, especially if you enjoy having quiet evenings.

Disappointing

Bates motel vibes. Broken lock on door. Antiquated. Dull. Charged me for 2 rooms (I was solo for 1 night stay). It was a booking.com issue and the manager said he would remove the second room charge after being contacted by booking.com- he didn't

Very nice affordable stay.

Location was great. This is a simple and charming old style motel. The bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and coffee-making facilities. Hot water and water pressure was great.

The bathroom needs some updating. Sink and shower, while functional, are in need of updating.

Quiet, safe, dog friendly family friendly work friendly good night's sleep sort of place

Quiet location, peaceful setting, easy walk or drive into town, lovely room, safe area, wildlife walking through the front lawn, very clean, staff are helpful and kind, Whether you're a solo traveler, family group, business trip, it's a safe, convenient location that is quiet and peaceful, dogs are welcome. If you're here for a few days, you have a microwave and fridge and the office has drinks and snacks if you don't want to go into town. There is always someone here if you need help.

Not much I didn't like. It's a good place for work and a good place to rest. It's far enough from the town you can sleep well through the night and you can watch the sun rise or set over the mountains and star gaze if you like at night.

It was very clean and reasonably priced. My negative star regarding location is only because without Google we never would have found it. It's unfortunate it's not out on the main highway. They would get a lot more business. But you can't just move a hotel. We'll stay again for sure.

I would highly recommend this place.

The room was very clean. Had a microwave, refrigerator, toiletry samples, coffee maker and Kleenex on the nightstand. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were neat & clean.

Nice, comfy lil Motel! Great staff, Pet friendly!

The room was simple, but nice clean and comfortable. It had everything one would need. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker/good coffee. The gentleman that checked us in and out was very kind and helpful. The grounds were clean with picnic area. Very good value for the price. We will stay there again.

The only thing I didn't like was the train tracks nearby. It really didnt bother us...the room is sound proof enough that it sounds more like a white noise.

It was on the edge of town. Close enough to stores and restaurants, but more a secluded feel. The bed was comfortable. It wasn’t too expensive.

Okay for one or possibly two people passing through the area.

Okay for an older motel that has been recently renovated. Space is severely limited. No fan in the tiny bathroom. Refrigerator didn't have a freezer. Barely suitable for two people. It is not convenient to the restaurants, etc. downtown. That said, it was very clean and quiet, and served the purpose for a place to stay when just passing through.

Honestly, the owner has pretty much upgraded what can be upgraded except for possibly installing fans in the bathrooms.

We would stay there again!

The staff was ready for our arrival and so was the room. It was clean and comfortable. The lawn in front was well kept and it was fun eating at the picnic table. The area was quite and we slept well.

A great little find

Carl is always friendly and it's great he remembers my dog. Love the pet friendly atmosphere, large grassy area, poo bags, etc. Comfy beds, clean. The rooms are definitely larger than a hotel would have and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. Customers also seem to be friendly and like dogs. Despite the train, we find this to be a very quiet location, it seems to attract quiet guests. We've visited at least four times and although our business in Baker City is done for now, we will miss the motel.

Shower, again, never really got hot. Temperature control buttons broken on AC, I could adjust once I figured out where to poke my finger in, but it's annoying and possibly unsafe. Refrigerator freezer is packed with ice. It's door had fallen off. This is such a convenient amenity to have in the room. It's a shame it's not better maintained. I noted this regarding the same room last month.

Room was a very adequate size and the heating/cooling unit was easy to operate and control. The bed and pillows were comfortable and bathroom amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, etc. were very much appreciated. Had all the perks I needed for my stay.
