Quiet, safe, dog friendly family friendly work friendly good night's sleep sort of place

Quiet location, peaceful setting, easy walk or drive into town, lovely room, safe area, wildlife walking through the front lawn, very clean, staff are helpful and kind, Whether you're a solo traveler, family group, business trip, it's a safe, convenient location that is quiet and peaceful, dogs are welcome. If you're here for a few days, you have a microwave and fridge and the office has drinks and snacks if you don't want to go into town. There is always someone here if you need help.

Not much I didn't like. It's a good place for work and a good place to rest. It's far enough from the town you can sleep well through the night and you can watch the sun rise or set over the mountains and star gaze if you like at night.

Affordable, clean, and as my wife says "What a cute little room! I love it!"

It was very clean and reasonably priced. My negative star regarding location is only because without Google we never would have found it. It's unfortunate it's not out on the main highway. They would get a lot more business. But you can't just move a hotel. We'll stay again for sure.

I would highly recommend this place.

The room was very clean. Had a microwave, refrigerator, toiletry samples, coffee maker and Kleenex on the nightstand. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were neat & clean.

Nice, comfy lil Motel! Great staff, Pet friendly!

The room was simple, but nice clean and comfortable. It had everything one would need. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker/good coffee. The gentleman that checked us in and out was very kind and helpful. The grounds were clean with picnic area. Very good value for the price. We will stay there again.

The only thing I didn't like was the train tracks nearby. It really didnt bother us...the room is sound proof enough that it sounds more like a white noise.

It was on the edge of town. Close enough to stores and restaurants, but more a secluded feel. The bed was comfortable. It wasn’t too expensive.

The bathroom door didn’t actually lock. The rooms and TVs are kinda small.

Okay for one or possibly two people passing through the area.

Okay for an older motel that has been recently renovated. Space is severely limited. No fan in the tiny bathroom. Refrigerator didn't have a freezer. Barely suitable for two people. It is not convenient to the restaurants, etc. downtown. That said, it was very clean and quiet, and served the purpose for a place to stay when just passing through.

Honestly, the owner has pretty much upgraded what can be upgraded except for possibly installing fans in the bathrooms.

We would stay there again!

The staff was ready for our arrival and so was the room. It was clean and comfortable. The lawn in front was well kept and it was fun eating at the picnic table. The area was quite and we slept well.

A great little find

Carl is always friendly and it's great he remembers my dog. Love the pet friendly atmosphere, large grassy area, poo bags, etc. Comfy beds, clean. The rooms are definitely larger than a hotel would have and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. Customers also seem to be friendly and like dogs. Despite the train, we find this to be a very quiet location, it seems to attract quiet guests. We've visited at least four times and although our business in Baker City is done for now, we will miss the motel.

Shower, again, never really got hot. Temperature control buttons broken on AC, I could adjust once I figured out where to poke my finger in, but it's annoying and possibly unsafe. Refrigerator freezer is packed with ice. It's door had fallen off. This is such a convenient amenity to have in the room. It's a shame it's not better maintained. I noted this regarding the same room last month.

Room was a very adequate size and the heating/cooling unit was easy to operate and control. The bed and pillows were comfortable and bathroom amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, etc. were very much appreciated. Had all the perks I needed for my stay.

Inexpensive, and not worth it.

Beds were good, AC worked well, so slept well.

Arrived early, no one in office. Shower knob impossible not to bump, changing water temp. No towel racks where you need them, no place to put toiletries. Everything just generally lacking. I'm more than fine with family operated places, and this place is cheaper than others, but neither of these things is an excuse for inadequate facilities.

It's a basic motel, a place to sleep for the night. Don't expect amenities. There's a railway line across the street but the excellent A/C unit easily drowned it out.

Nice place to stay

This hotel offered more amenities not provided by chain hotels at the same or even $20-30 higher price point. It was comfortable and clean. The room offered a coffee maker, fridge, microwave and hairdryer. And there were outlets right next to the bed.

The latch to lock the door from the inside needs to be replaced.

A nine out of ten for an economy room.

Very comfy bed and a cup of coffee to get out the door with! Gotta admit, I'm always a little nervous booking such an inexpensive room, but this was a win. We would definitely stay here again.
