A great place to stay for the value of what is offered.

Staff was very friendly, polite, and courteous. Food at the restaurant was very good and we were well attended to by the staff. The office has hot coffee ready early in the morning and it was good. The motel is pretty close to he trail by the powder river behind the motel which offered a good area to walk my dog.

The room heating/cooling system was a bit noisy when it cycled. Highly recommend ear plugs so it does not wake you up. Hot water took a while to make it to our shower, but was plenty hot enough for a good shower. Since there is no hair dryer, take your own.

The restaurant is AMAZING! classic diner with a rustic mountain feel. super friendly staff. loved having a full restaurant next door for breakfast. great water pressure - very hot and very cold. I liked the proximity to the Powder River.

the interiors have not been updated, maybe ever... the mattresses are very old and uncomfortable - like sleeping on box springs. the heater was SO loud I actually went out and bought a radiator heater so I didn't have to listen to the wall unit roar off and on. The river was right behind the room but the window was teeny tiny so you couldn't appreciate it.

The room served its purpose. We just needed a place to stay for the night.

Nice idea with the included breakfast to have simple upgrades. Made it a really nice restaurant breakfast for a very nominal charge. The location of the property makes it very quiet and restful.

Dinner at the restaurant was mediocre at best. My steak was good, my baked potato was good, the mixed vegetables should have been tossed, and that goes for the leathery bun as well. Salad bar was marginal, seems most of it had probably been there since lunchtime. Sad, as breakfast was a real winner.

The restaurant was fantastic, real people and real food. Quiet hotel and neighborhood, lovely walking path right behind it.

The only issue was the shower, too much pressure and the temperature was impossible to stabilize.

All of the food at the restaurant was great. the room was quite small but the bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little flat but workable the fresh coffee was an exceptional plus! so much better then the coffee packets in most places. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean!

The place was adequate and served our needs.

It was easy to find. A good value. Friendly and helpful staff, Coffee room with ice machine was great! It was nice having a fridge and microwave in the room. Free parking is always appreciated. The breakfast ticket was great too!

Sadly the pool was closed during our stay. The furniture arrangement with the round table in the corner was a little odd, but we made it work. I find it interesting that the beds are two different heights. Rusty stairs did not illicit confidence.

Pet friendly. The staff member was so kind!

The rooms felt dirty, they were really old, one stair was breaking, the customers at the motel were walking around late at night and it worried us. Air was not that cold and we were afraid to sleep under the covers because the beds seemed dirty.

A great place to stay for families on a budget.

The free breakfast voucher at the restaurant next door was a phenomenal value for my family and so delicious! We loved the pool and the staff was very friendly. It felt safe and generally clean and taken care of. Loved opening the window and listening to river all night. Overall a fair value in spite of the issues.

AC unit was super loud and yet we were still so hot all night. The room was a bit cramped, mattresses were terrible, carpet was very stained.

Very clean despite the room being very “tired” and outdated. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The bed was against one wall so who ever slept on the wall side had to climb down to the foot of the bed to get out. Only 2 outlets available to charge phones and plug in CPap

Cute and cozy, and importantly clean! Staff was really friendly, and the diner attached to it was fabulous for breakfast, with an equally friendly staff!

Some of the photos are misleading (the creek view was a tiny window in the bathroom for us), and it's a little worn around the edges, but still good. Would recommend updating the key system for safety.

The breakfast gets full marks. Always excellent and the staff is great. This is our go-to hotel in Baker City. The hotel staff is friendly and, after staying there for an annual visit with family, it feels like we have developed relationships with the staff. Yes, this is a budget hotel, but on the few occasions when something has gone wrong, the response is always immediate. They take excellent care of their guesta. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Baker City.

Powder river right outside our window, was lovely to listen to; recreational path runs by there too. Had a nice walk.
