Tiring night

The quiet location, free parking, pet friendly,

Half the lights in mine and my son's room didn't work, the toilet backed up after every flush, there was a high pitched whine every 2 hours lasting about 45 mins each to which kept me up all night, the shower head in son's room sprayed water out the back and down the wall, the water was only lukewarm 2 hours after the previous shower, the bed was made neatly but there was dirt under the top sheet and comforter,

They took my reservation money and made me wait 7 to 10 days to get it back and I was out of a place

Nothing they charged me for a stay then when I went to check in they said I could not check in that they flagged me.

That they charged me and knew that they were not going to let me stay.

Potholes, muddy barefooted footprints on wood floor, hole cut in plaster at the head of the bed, non working lights above headboard, stain on underside of bedspread-(I was checking for signs of bedbugs-fortunately none found.

The person on the desk when I checked in was very nice.

There were a lot of potholes. It was not possible to enter the parking lot without going through some potholes. The room was dirty and run down. There were stains and holes everywhere (bed spread, walls, etc). There was soap grime on the counter. When I stepped off the bed the carpeting felt wet. I thought that there was breakfast included listed when I booked. I may be mistaken, but there was nothing set out in the morning. I was just so keen to leave I didn't even ask if it was my mistake. The price was very low for the room.

Absolutely nothing.

My room wasn't clean, the entire STEEP paved road to get to the hotel is full of potholes and I mean potholes that are the width of my car. My room was disgusting, smelled horrible. And halfway through the night, the door stopped latching and I realized the door had rotted through. It was singled handled the worst hotel stay of my life.

Horrible.

The convenience of how close we were to the venue .

There were roaches , burn holes in the blankets in both non smoking rooms , questionable human bodily fluids on mattress cover , nasty stuff all over the walls . The man at the front desk took us out of our first room we complained about and put us in an even worse room where we found the roaches . And still has yet to do anything about it . He didn’t check the room until 2 hours after we had already headed up to the diner at the top of the hill after check out . None of the lights worked in either rooms . The first room we stayed in had a stained black rim around the toilet boil as well . It looks like the house keeper is quite lazy and we witnessed her only take 5 minutes per room. We had our son with us and had mentioned that multiple times . There were drugs addicts roaming the parking lot all night and yelling . I wouldn’t recommend staying here and will be calling guest relations later on.

Room looked great upon entry. However there were cobwebs and spider in corners of room. Dusty in places. Hair dryer not working. Ceiling around shower head area was droopy, and had a large hole present. The toilet kept making loud hissing noises every 5 minutes and needed float replaced.

DRIVEWAY DOWN TO FACILITY WAS A JOKE. You had to play dodge the huge potholes all the way down hill and in parking lot. Hole in shower ceiling Cobwebs in corners. Hair Dryer not working Over bed light not working. Noisy toilet. Lack of communication when there was no hot water due to a major pipe break. Promised to have toilet fixed several times when I checked at desk. However, I was here 2 weeks and toilet never repaired.

It's quiet for the most part. Not a ton of people running around.

The roads and hotel are on a slow decline and in need of updates and repair. It's dusty, and the bare minimum of everything is provided. The shower feels like I could fall though if I jumped just right.

A little older with exception of value and service

This hotel is a little older and could use some new updates, perhaps, but my room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were professional, friendly & always helpful.I highly recommend this hotel if you're in Parkersburg, WV

There was nothing to dislike or complain about. I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, and I received 4 days of exceptional service, quality and comfort.

The power was out when we arrived and the desk clerk was very accommodating. He was professional, informative, and straightforward. I would definitely stay again.

Pleasant

We were greeted with a friendly fellow who set us up with easy access to our clean room. The location was close to the event we were attending. The location has a well lit parking area and price was pretty good.

The mattress was terrible! It was a king as requested but it was so bad it was lumpy and you had to stay to the middle to not fall out! And the only chair in the room was not comfortable and in poor shape. These are very important things to get right when dealing with tired travelers!

The front desk person was extremely nice but the area was a little sketchy.None of the remotes worked in any of the three rooms that we rented. You had to physically get up and change the channel. Oh my!
