Seacoast Suites on Miami Beach

The apartments main building was very well kept, with lovely hallways and gardens. Pool was nice and they had courts for racket games. The apartments were right on the beach. The apartment we stayed in had wonderful views of the river and downtime Miami. What’s not to like.

The cleanliness of the apartment did not meet my expectations. The carpets in the bedrooms were filthy which lead me to look at the apartment as a whole. I cleaned all the surfaces myself but housekeeping remedied the carpets by visiting with a vacuum. I appreciated them doing this and felt better about the apartment after that. The apartment wasn’t very well furnished in the kitchen, with very little kitchen crockery or utensils. However we made do.

This hotel is all about the location and the view. You literally walk out the back of the hotel, past the pool and onto the beach. This beach is amazing! The hotel also provides the use of free beach lounges and beach towels which I didn't expect. Also, the tennis courts have just been remodled into new pickle board courts As long as you get an ocean view room you will be enjoying the beautiful views of the ocean and the sunrise. The beds, linen and bathroom were all fine.

Obviously, your room will not look like the one in the picture. These rooms are all in need of renovation. They are adequate but you can expect to see stains on the carpet. The kitchen was okay but the utensils provided were very limited. The floor of our room wasn't cleaned properly but there were no cockroaches. Renovations have started on the top two floors of the building so you can expect to see refurbished rooms available soon. Hopefully the prices don't increase too much. The use of contract security guards isn't a good look in my opinion. It would be much better if they employed their own staff and gave them hotel uniforms instead of having security guards in black.

I liked that it was right on the beach and it was gorgeous

We had a leak in the hallway from the ceiling the morning we were getting ready to leave. We only stayed 1 night

The view was amazing, the apartment was big, the access to beach was amazing but......

Aparment had a leak when used air con flooded near door. Areas was worn an grubby windows all dirty. Chair on balcony was broke, sofa had all stains on it. Bath had paint pealing off bath tub. Cost us 15 dollars for 1 wash. Gym was always locked. When arrived hallways was full smoke from someone cooking we was told Also air con wouldnt work And for the price you expected more And way had ro walk qith dog passed all rubbish an round aide was disgusting
